The extra excursions were amazing but strenuous though we are glad we did them. It was well planned, well organized, and superbly coordinated by our miracle-worker of a guide, Rayes de Leon. The tour took in the sights as advertised and went far beyond that with Rayes teaching us everything from the grand history of the Mayan people to the minutia of local plant life. The main form of travel on our Belize trips is by private vehicle. It is very spacious however it does not contain a lot of leg room. Luggage is stored on board the vehicle and has plenty of room for a maximum group size of 12.

There are no activities planned for the last day of your tour (24th December). You can depart the accommodation at any time following checkout. An open-dated round-trip water taxi ticket is included on your trip. To take the water taxi from the Caye Caulker city port back to Belize City, you will need to arrive at the ferry terminal 1 hour before departure. You must make your own way from your Caye Caulker hotel to the ferry port. Your hotel can provide the ferry schedule.
