Itinerary
- Day 1
Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine
Head out early from Puerto Natales on a bus heading toward Torres del Paine National Park, which takes about 2 hours to reach. Once you arrive and complete registration at the park entrance, you'll board a catamaran that crosses Lake Pehoe. From there, a 4-hour hike through forest and along the lakeshore begins, and around the halfway point you'll catch your first glimpse of Glacier Grey. The day ends at Camp Grey where you'll settle in for the night.

Camp Grey to Camp Paine Grande
After breakfast, hike back in the direction of Paine Grande. You can choose to travel light with just a day pack and venture further out to see more glacier views and cross one of the park's suspension bridges if you want. Gather your full pack afterward and continue along the shore of Lake Pehoe, hiking back to camp where you'll stay another night.

Camp Paine Grande to Camp Cuernos
Following breakfast, start hiking toward Campamento Italiano, which sits about 2.5 hours away. Leave your larger pack there and take just a day pack to explore French Valley. The route crosses a moraine and forest terrain before opening into a clearing where you get great views of lakes and glaciers. Retrieve your pack and spend another 2.5 hours hiking to Camp Cuernos for the night.

Camp Cuernos to Camp Chileno
Eat breakfast and then hike for 4 hours toward Camp Chileno through Asencio Valley. The trail runs past Lake Nordenskjold and takes you up Almirante Nieto, giving you mountain views throughout the day. You'll cross several rivers and see glaciers and peaks along the way. Reach Camp Chileno by evening and have dinner there before settling in.

Camp Chileno to Puerto Natales
Hike up Almirante Nieto through thick forest for roughly an hour, then approach a moraine and climb higher to see the granite Torres peaks. After spending time with those views, go back to Camp Chileno to collect your belongings, hike out to the park entrance, catch a shuttle, and board a bus returning to Puerto Natales to wrap up the trek.
