Itinerary
- Day 1
Antananarivo
Your international flight lands in Antananarivo and you're met at the airport for a transfer to your hotel. It's a straightforward arrival day to settle in and rest up before your adventure begins.
- Day 2
Antananarivo to Diego Suarez - Amber Mountain
After breakfast you head to the airport for your flight to Nosy Be. Once you land, your guide takes you to Amber Mountain, a dormant volcano surrounded by tropical rainforest. The elevation runs between 850 and 1,475 meters, and you'll walk through areas where lemurs, birds, chameleons, and geckos live freely. On clear days you can see Diego Bay spread out below you.

Diego Suarez - Three Bays
This day covers three distinct bays with white sand beaches facing the Emerald Sea and Diego Bay. You'll see Sakalava Bay, the Dunes, and Pigeons Bay either on foot or by 4x4 vehicle. Stop at Cap Miné to check out old WWII cannons left from the 1942 Battle of Madagascar, then loop back through Orangea, a former military outpost, before returning to Diego.

Diego Suarez - Emerald Sea Lagoon
Early on you make your way to Ramena fishing village and board a motorized dinghy into the Emerald Sea lagoon. The water's clear and blue-green with coral reefs nearby. You'll snorkel in shallow areas while local fishermen and your guides prepare fresh grilled fish for lunch right there. By afternoon you're back in Diego.

Diego Suarez to Ankarana - Red Tsingy
You drive 65 kilometers from Diego to see the Red Tsingy formations near Analamera reserve. These distinctive red rock structures were carved by wind and rain over centuries. Unlike the larger grey Tsingy elsewhere, these are more fragile and have a different look. After exploring, you continue on to Ankarana for the night.

Landmarks/POIs Red Tsingy - Day 6
Ankarana - Tsingy and Caves
The Ankarana Massif reveals its dramatic Big Tsingy rock formations and an extensive cave network. You'll see crowned lemurs, owls, mongooses, tenrecs, and bats as you walk through. Lunch is on your own today. From there you drive to Ambanja and arrive at your hotel by evening.

Landmarks/POIs Ankarana Massif - Day 7
Ambanja - High Sambirano Valley
After breakfast you explore the High Sambirano region with its cocoa plantations, rice fields, and local settlements. Stop in Ambobaka village to meet traditional healers and see their medicinal plant garden. Then you take a boat along the Ramena River, swim under the Bons Pères waterfall, and walk back across a bridge to watch the sunset over the Sambirano River.

Ambanja to Nosy Be
You drive to Ankify and board a fast boat for Hell-Ville, Nosy Be's capital. A local agent welcomes you at the dock and handles your transfer to your accommodation.

Nosy Be
This day is open for you to explore Nosy Be however you'd like. Visit Nosy Tanikely if you're interested, which locals call a real aquarium and has villages where macaco lemurs hang around behind houses. There are plenty of activities scattered across the island to choose from.

Nosy Be to Antananarivo
Depending on your flight time with Tsaradia, you might fit in a final dive in Nosy Be. Afterward your guide transfers you to the airport for your flight back to Antananarivo, where you'll be driven to your hotel.

Antananarivo Departure
If you have time before your international flight, there's a quick stop at the artisanal market for shopping. Then it's off to the airport to catch your flight home.
