- Day 1
Medellín
You'll arrive in Medellín and get transferred to your hotel in one of the city's lively neighborhoods. The weather here stays around 72°F/22°C year-round, which is why locals call it the 'City of Eternal Spring.' After settling in, you can either rest at your hotel or take a walk to a nearby café to start getting a feel for the city's vibe and energy.

Medellín
A guided tour takes you through Medellín's transformation, starting in the historic center with its colonial buildings and street art. You'll ride the Metrocable to see how it connects different neighborhoods, then head to Plaza Botero where Fernando Botero's large sculptures are on display. The tour also includes Comuna 13, showing how the city has rebuilt itself through creativity and community effort across several decades.

Guatapé
This full-day trip heads outside the city to Guatapé, a region with emerald-colored lakes and green hills surrounding it. You'll climb the 740 steps up El Peñol, a 200-meter rock formation, for views in all directions. After that, you'll walk around the town of Guatapé to see its colorful hand-painted bas-relief panels on houses. Lunch comes next by the lake, and you can choose to take a boat ride through the rural Antioquia countryside if you want.

Along the way, your guide shares the stories connected to each dish and how the food reflects Colombia's varied regions and cultures and history.
