- Day 1
Arrival in Quito
You'll arrive in Ecuador and head from the airport to Quito, a 45-minute drive through scenic countryside. Your guide will use this time to walk you through what's coming up on your trip while you get settled and find your bearings around the city.

Quito to Yasuní National Park
After flying to El Coca, a local guide meets you and takes you into Yasun National Park, one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. You'll have lunch by the Shiripuno River, then paddle by kayak deeper into the jungle, reaching your rainforest camp as night falls.

Yasuní National Park Exploration
Early morning means heading out on Waorani trails to look for monkeys and colorful birds while learning about jungle plants the indigenous people use. After eating at camp, you'll canoe across the river and kayak on a lagoon hunting for anacondas and fishing for piranhas. Later in the afternoon, visit a Waorani family to see how they live, then take an evening canoe ride with flashlights to spot caimans.

Waorani Hunting and Culture Experience
A Waorani warrior guides you on a special trip into their territory after breakfast. You'll kayak far into the jungle where the warrior shows traditional hunting skills like making and using curare. The guide lets you try a blowgun yourself, giving you real insight into how they've lived traditionally.

Landmarks/POIs Yasuní National Park - Day 5
Sacred Saladero and Waorani Community
Waorani guides take you hiking to a sacred saladero, a hidden jungle spot where animals come to eat minerals from the soil. You'll see parrots, macaws, tapirs, and monkeys while learning about Waorani traditions and medicinal plants. After lunch at camp, visit the Waorani community to see their art and how they live, then sit around a campfire for your final night in the rainforest.

Yasuní National Park to Quito
Your last morning in the Amazon starts with breakfast before paddling along the Shiripuno River one final time. Once you reach the pickup point, you'll drive about two hours to Coca and catch a flight back to Quito, looking back on your rainforest time from the air.
