Itinerary
- Day 1
Marsa Alam to Luxor
Your pickup comes early at 5 am from your Marsa Alam hotel, then you'll spend the next 4 to 5 hours driving to Luxor. Once there, an Egyptology guide meets you and takes you through Karnak Temple, which is the largest religious complex from ancient times. You'll break for lunch at a local spot with views over the Nile, and afterward head to the Valley of the Kings. There you'll walk through 3 selected tombs and get details about pharaohs like Ramses II and Tutankhamun. Before wrapping up, you'll check out Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. The day finishes with a one-hour felucca sailing on the Nile to wind down from all that exploring.
