- TFTabatha· November 25th, 2025A disappointing trip at an extremely high cost for what it really was. Intro Travel did not manage the situation caused by weather problems correctly. An entire week was completely wasted and the proposed options were practically nonexistent. I myself had to organize and pay for additional activities while the team leader went off to cry in her room or suggested going to drink at a bar. It is precisely in these special situations when you expect excellent management from the agency, that is why I choose to travel and pay for their services. I would recommend that Intro Travel review their customer service policy and the level of their team leaders. Both are deficient for what you pay.Show moreTrip date: November 2025

Asked on October 2nd, 2025I am looking at this tour starting 26th of March. I am trying to get an indication of flights availability from Melbourne, Australia. Can you tell me what time the group would meet on the 26th? What time also would we be leaving on the 11th? The price is based in a shared room. What is the additional cost to get your own room?
INTRO TravelOperator•Written October 2025There is a welcome dinner around 7pm on day 1, so ideally we would like you to arrive before then. Any time is absolutely fine though. You can also depart at any time on the final day. We can look into the possibility of a private room for you. Group Members are in their hotel rooms for a very limited time throughout the trip, as there are activities most days and things planned most evenings.

Traveler•Written October 2025I saw the tour is 3999 AUD$ for these dates? Before I start doing some shopping around with other tours, is it the last price you can offer? And also, insurances are compulsory, right?
INTRO TravelOperator•Written October 2025The tour is currently $3,999 AUD for the 17-day Philippines Island Explorer. We've already priced it as competitively as possible, so there's not much flexibility on discounts at the moment. Travel insurance is indeed compulsory for all our trips - it's a requirement for everyone joining, just to make sure you're covered for any unexpected events while travelling.

Traveler•Written October 2025Are there VISA requirements for Australians?
INTRO TravelOperator•Written October 2025As an Australian passport holder I don't believe you'll need a visa if staying less than 30 days. However, we aren't experts in visa, so it's always best to check visa requirements on the official government website.

Asked on July 27th, 2025I am a lot older than the age range given (I am 57): yet am adventurous, I regular walk/ hike 5 miles (8 km), and have recently been canyoning in Costa Rica, zip lining, and am active and enjoy more moderate than easy tours. Could our company, or do you know of any tour companies that could help me plan a trip in November to both the Western and Eastern Islands of the Philippines, with fun activities including Kawasan falls, the underground river in Palawan, the Sardine run in Cebu, the canary walk sounds nice. I enjoy group tours, but see most are limited to age 35 or 39 (except on Trio Advisor which offers day trips, but I would need to set up my own transportation and plan everything out.
INTRO TravelOperator•Written July 2025The majority of people on our tours are aged 18 to 40, but we regularly have people in their 40's and 50's travel with us and have an incredible time! But as long as you have an appetite for adventure (and it sounds like you definitely do!) and are happy bonding with people of all backgrounds, you'll fit in perfectly! You'll love our Philippines Island Explorer 17 day tour which does the absolute best of the Philippines and more. It's got so many incredible experiences included like canyoneering down waterfalls, snorkelling with 1000's of sardines and hanging with the locals on a remote island boat trip.

Asked on May 7th, 2025I'm a healthy, active 73 years old female who travels a lot and ask if it could be an exemption on the age limit. Also, if there is a possibility of sharing a room or a single supplement added and how much it will be?
INTRO TravelOperator•Written May 2025The majority of our group members are in their 20's and 30's, so unfortunately I don't think our tours would be suitable for you. We really hope you find a suitable trip and that you have a fantastic time in Philippines, it's truly an incredible country! You may find that Intrepid Travel or G Adventures have some suitable tours for you.

Asked on January 13th, 2025We are a family of 2 adults and 4 children (19, 18, 16, 12 years). We like your itinerary but would like to add Boracay and add a few more extra nights into the stops. Can we do this and can we do this as a private tour or how big are your tours? We would like to do this mid December if possible?
INTRO TravelOperator•Written January 2025Our trips are for over 18's only, however we can allow 17 year olds to join us with a signed parental consent form. Unfortunately, as 2 of your children are younger than the allowed age, we will not be able to get them booked on a trip at this time. But we look forward to welcoming them when they turn 18.

Asked on August 25th, 2024Is the price for single room or do I have to share the rooms with someone else during the trip?
INTRO TravelOperator•Written August 2024The price is for shared accommodation, and we'll room you with someone of the same gender and try our best to room you with someone of a similar age. Group Members are in their rooms for a very limited time throughout the trip, as there are activities most days and things planned most evenings. If you would prefer private accommodation then we can certainly look into the possibility of a private room for you. For a private room it would cost an extra £400 (or equivalent in another currency).
