Itinerary
- Day 1
Tarangire National Park
Your hotel pickup happens at 8:00 am, and from there you'll head into Tarangire National Park. The day centers on game drives where you'll look for lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes. There's lunch at a riverside observatory with good views of animals coming to the water. After lunch, another game drive follows before you settle in at your lodge for the night.

Lake Manyara National Park
The drive across the Great Rift Valley takes about 2 hours to reach Lake Manyara National Park. You'll spend the day on game drives looking for giraffes, elephants, impalas, and buffalo herds with the lake and flamingos in view. The park has lush acacia forests and lots of monkeys around. Lunch happens at a panoramic picnic spot, then you'll head back to your lodge for dinner.

Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you'll leave at 6:30 am heading toward the Serengeti. On the way, there's a stop at the Ngorongoro Crater rim for views. From there, you enter the Serengeti plains and the landscape opens up significantly. Lunch takes place out in the grasslands, and by evening you're settled at your lodge with dinner and a campfire experience.

Serengeti National Park
This day gives you flexibility with your guide to shape how things go. You might do a morning game drive returning for lunch and downtime, or head out for a full day with a picnic lunch. Your guide will talk through timing with you, including wake-up times and game drive schedules based on what works best for your wildlife viewing.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro
The alarm goes off at 5:30 am for an early morning game drive to catch wildlife at their most active and watch the sunrise. Back at camp, brunch gives you time to relax. Later, you'll head to Ngorongoro Crater with its 2,000-foot walls and 102 square miles of space. A crater rim walk happens before you drive to your lodge for the night.

Ngorongoro to Arusha
Starting very early, you'll descend onto the Ngorongoro crater floor for wildlife viewing. A picnic lunch waits near Hippo Lake, then there's time for a short afternoon game drive. After that, you head back up the crater and leave the conservation area, driving to Arusha where you should arrive around 5:00 pm, depending on your flight schedule or other plans.
