Arusha
You'll meet up with Lights on Africa members and get transferred to your hotel in Arusha. This is your first night, so you'll have time to settle in, unpack, and get ready for the safari that's ahead of you. It's a good chance to rest up before things get going.

Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you're driving into Tarangire National Park, which is Tanzania's third largest park. The place is known for huge elephant herds and those iconic baobab trees scattered across the landscape. You'll have a picnic lunch at a designated spot, then keep exploring to see lions, leopards, giraffes, and zebras. By evening, you'll head to your tented camp.

Landmarks/POIs Tarangire National Park - Day 3
Lake Manyara National Park
You're leaving Tarangire and heading to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of driving through the park. The landscape here has lush forests with Acacia and Mahogany trees, and you'll look for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and blue monkeys. The park's famous for tree-climbing lions, and depending on when you're there, you might see millions of pink flamingos along the shore. Picnic lunch happens during the drive, and you're back at camp for dinner.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park
You're up at 7:30 AM after breakfast and driving to Serengeti National Park, passing through Ngorongoro Conservation Area along the way. Once you arrive, you start your game drive right away in the Serengeti, where you'll encounter Africa's top predators including leopards, cheetahs, and lions in their natural habitat.

Landmarks/POIs Ngorongoro Conservation Area Serengeti National Park - Day 5
Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you're heading out for a full-day game drive across the Serengeti's open savannah plains. This is one of Africa's greatest wildlife spots, home to the largest animal migration on earth and the most plains game you'll find on the continent. You'll stop for a picnic lunch and keep exploring before returning to camp for dinner.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Today you're doing a walking safari in the heart of the Serengeti with an armed park ranger escorting you. You'll trek on foot through the same area as lions, elephants, and giraffes, checking out animal tracks, droppings, insects, and plants. Your ranger will explain medicinal uses of what you're seeing. After returning to the lodge for brunch, you continue with a game drive heading toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Landmarks/POIs Serengeti National Park Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Day 7
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Early morning and you're descending into Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's seven natural wonders. Thousands of animals are here including lions, zebras, buffalos, and black rhinos in this unique ecosystem. You'll have a picnic lunch near the hippo pool and do an afternoon game drive. Late afternoon you head back up out of the crater and drive to Arusha for your flight home or for an extended stay.
