Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Luleå
You'll land at Luleå and get picked up for the drive to Treehotel in the Haradö forests, roughly an hour north. Once you arrive and check in, there's a quick guided tour showing off the hotel's unique design and architecture. After that, you'll spend about 2 hours in the TreeSauna, which is a nice way to settle in after traveling.

Landmarks Treehotel - Day 2
Sami Culture and Arctic Circle
Following breakfast, you're heading to Flakaberg village, about 80km away, to visit reindeer herder Sami Eriksson and his property. You'll tour the reindeer farm, learn how the native Sami people live and their cultural traditions, and have lunch there. On the way back to the hotel, you'll stop at the Arctic Circle Monument before returning.

Landmarks Arctic Circle Monument - Day 3
Snowmobile Safari
After eating breakfast, you'll get suited up in thermal gear and receive safety training before heading out on a snowmobile safari. The ride takes you through the forested Swedish Lapland landscape, moving through thick snow and wild terrain. This is a full adventure day focused on exploring the backcountry on your own.

- Day 4
Luleå to Kiruna and ICEHOTEL
You'll take a train from Luleå to Kiruna, then transfer to Jukkasjärvi and check into ICEHOTEL. Your room is carved entirely from ice with hand-made furnishings created by artists from around the world. The interior stays between -5 to -8°C/23 to 18°F, but you'll have thick mattresses, thermal sleeping bags, and reindeer hides keeping you warm through the night. In the morning, there's a sauna and breakfast before you leave.

- Day 5
Ice Sculpting and Dogsledding
The morning includes an ice sculpting class where you'll learn to use ice tools and create your own piece. In the afternoon, you're dogsledding through snow-covered forest with a team of huskies pulling your sled. You'll meet the dogs, experience the quiet of being pulled through the woods, and stop for a warm drink partway through. The whole sled ride takes about an hour before heading back to ICEHOTEL.

Departure from Kiruna
After breakfast, you'll be driven to Kiruna Airport for your flight out. If you want to add more activities like reindeer sledding, ice fishing, or overnight camping to your trip, you can contact the tour operator to arrange that before you leave.
