Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Tokyo
You'll land in Japan and get a private transfer to your accommodation. Check into the Basakusa or similar property and get settled into your Superior Twin room. This is a chance to rest up before the exciting days of exploring Tokyo start rolling.



- Day 2
Tokyo
Your private guided tour of Tokyo uses public transportation to hit the highlights. Start at Meiji Shrine, where you can write wishes on wooden plaques in the peaceful setting. From there, head to Shinjuku Gyoen National Park before moving on to Senso-ji Temple with its iconic red lantern. You'll browse the traditional shops and food stalls along Nakamise shopping street to wrap up the day.

Mount Fuji Excursion
The drive toward Mount Fuji takes about 2.5 hours. You'll start at Arakurayama Sengen Shrine and climb up to Chureito Pagoda for photos of Mount Fuji. After that, there's a scenic cruise on Lake Kawaguchiko, then you'll explore Iyashi no Sato with its charming thatched-roof houses. End the afternoon with photos at Lake Saiko before heading back to Tokyo.

Tokyo to Kyoto
Spend your morning checking out Tokyo at your own pace before making your way to Tokyo Station. From there, you'll board the Shinkansen bullet train heading to Kyoto. When you arrive, check into Park Hotel Kyoto and settle into your Superior Twin room in this historic city.

- Day 5
Kyoto
Start with Kinkaku-ji Temple, the Golden Pavilion with its reflection in the water. Next, you'll visit Nijo Castle to explore the Edo period architecture and history. Head over to Fushimi-Inari Shrine, where you'll walk through thousands of vermilion torii gates up Mount Inari. By evening, you'll be in the Gion district where you might catch sight of geisha and maiko in traditional kimonos.

- Day 6
Nara Day Trip
Take the Kintetsu train to Nara with your guide. You'll see the towering bronze Buddha at Todaiji Temple and explore Kasuga Taisha Shrine, a UNESCO site with beautiful lantern-lined pathways. Spend time in Nara Park interacting with the free-roaming deer and feeding these gentle creatures. By evening, you'll head back to Kyoto.

- Day 7
Kyoto
You have the day free to explore Kyoto however you like. There's an optional Kimono and Tea Ceremony experience available in Gion if that interests you, where you'd dress in a kimono and have matcha in a traditional townhouse. Otherwise, wander through the Gion district on your own or check out the Nishiki market where you can sample local flavors and pick up souvenirs.
