Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo to Giza
Your Egyptologist guide picks you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza early in the morning. You'll spend the first part of the day walking around the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure on the Giza Plateau, where your guide explains the construction and history of each one. From there, you'll see the Great Sphinx up close before heading to Saqqara. Once you arrive at Saqqara, you check out the Step Pyramid of Djoser and explore ancient tombs with vivid carvings on the walls. After lunch (which you can arrange ahead of time), your guide takes you back to your hotel by late afternoon.
