Itinerary
- Day 1
Luxor West Bank
Your guide meets you at your hotel or Nile cruise in Luxor early morning, and you'll cross the river to spend the day on the West Bank exploring ancient royal sites. In the Valley of the Kings, you'll walk through several tombs with beautifully painted walls and hieroglyphics. After that, head to the Temple of Hatshepsut, which is carved right into the cliff face and rises dramatically from the desert floor. Later in the afternoon, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues that have stood here for thousands of years. Then you'll head back to your hotel or cruise ship by evening.
