Itinerary
- Day 1
Nairobi to Masai Mara
Early morning pickup from Nairobi gets you started, and you'll stop at the Great Rift Valley Escarpment to take in the views before heading down through Narok town. By afternoon you're checking into Jambo Mara Safari Lodge and settling in with lunch. After a break at the campsite, head out on an afternoon and evening game drive through Masai Mara Game Reserve where you can spot wildlife and catch the sunset before returning to the lodge.

Masai Mara
African breakfast comes early at the campsite, then you're on an all-day safari drive with a picnic lunch included. The Masai Mara Game Reserve offers excellent chances to see lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, wildebeest, zebras, and various antelope species. You'll be back at the lodge by 5:00 PM for dinner and the night.

Masai Mara to Serengeti
Early breakfast comes first, followed by a morning game drive from Ololoomutia Gate to Ololoo Gate where you track big cats and other wildlife. At 9:00 AM you depart the gate and head through Migori, reaching the Isebania border by noon for immigration procedures. After crossing into Tanzania with a new driver-guide and registering at Tarime gate, you continue with a game drive on your way to Central Serengeti National Park. Arrive at Serengeti Simba Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti
A full day game drive takes you through the northern and middle Serengeti, including the hippo pool and Mara River region where you search for big cats following the wildebeest and zebra migration. You'll see the dramatic scene at the Grumeti River where crocodiles wait for crossing herds. Return late to Serengeti Simba Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro
After breakfast, spend the morning exploring the Mawe and central Serengeti areas, focusing on the Serengeti kopjes where big cats are frequently spotted. Look for zebra and wildebeest herds, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and other wildlife throughout the morning. Picnic lunch is served before you head toward the Ngorongoro Conservancy region, with the option to visit the Olduvai Gorge Museum on the way. Evening arrival at Marera Valley Lodge with an optional community visit before dinner.

Ngorongoro to Arusha
Breakfast at Marera Valley Lodge includes distant views of Ngorongoro Crater. Drive to the main gate with your packed picnic lunch and register before descending into the crater for a game drive. The crater offers a chance to spot the few remaining black rhinos and over 25,000 other wildlife species. Enjoy your picnic lunch at the crater rim, then ascend and drive to Arusha where the Kenya Tanzania safari wraps up.
