  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Moshi

    You'll land at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet your Golden World Explore representative who handles your transfer to Moshi. The drive gives you time to settle into your hotel and let your body start adjusting to the elevation before trekking begins tomorrow.

  2. Day 2

    Moshi to Machame Camp

    After breakfast, you'll head to Machame gate and start your trek. The hike covers about 6 hours through forest terrain as you climb to Machame Camp at 9,800 ft/2,987 m, where you'll have dinner and spend the night.

  3. Day 3

    Machame Camp to Shira Plateau

    The morning hike takes you through heather and moorland toward Shira Plateau at 12,500 ft/3,810 m. This 5-hour trek gradually increases your elevation, and you'll settle in at Shira Plateau Camp for dinner and overnight.

    Shira Plateau to Barranco Camp

    Barranco Camp to Karanga Valley

    The trek moves through alpine desert landscape toward Karanga Valley at 13,106 ft/3,995 m. This shorter 4-hour hike lets your body continue adjusting while you make solid progress toward the final push.

    Karanga Valley to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp

    You'll get a midnight wake-up call to begin the summit attempt. The ascent to Uhuru Peak at 19,341 ft/5,895 m passes through Stella Point, timing your arrival for sunrise. After photos, you'll descend to Barafu Camp for lunch, then continue down to Mweka Camp for dinner and overnight.

    Moshi to Tarangire National Park

    This full day in Serengeti focuses on the wildebeest migration and the Big Five. You'll have morning and afternoon game drives with a picnic lunch midday, searching for lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos before heading back to camp for dinner.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 30 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
