- Ginger· October 1st, 2025The tour guide AnDre was excellent. He spoke both English and Italian and was always looking out for his group. He had knowledge of the places we visited. The resort style place for 3 nights had a lot of mosquitos due to all the vegetation surrounding the rooms. The food was somewhat mediocre to bad. Wines also not good. The food out on our day trip stops was about the same. I usually don't have 3 meals a day on my tours but based on where we were staying on this tour, there really was no other option to go out to eat on my own. The people on the tour were pleasant. The pace each day was perfect to see each town. I arrived in Bari the day ahead and I greatly enjoyed exploring the city on my own.Show more

Asked on September 11th, 2025What will be the arrival time to Rome on last day? Around 7 is a bit too vague for us. We have domestic flights out of FCO at 21.50, so we need to understand if we will have enough time.
Omega ToursOperator•Written September 2025On the last day of the program, you will have the morning at leisure in Sorrento. In the afternoon, the group will transfer to Naples and continue by train to Rome, with a late evening arrival in Rome around 7 PM. Since your flight from Rome FCO departs at 21:50, it would not be possible to catch it if you remain with the group transfer. To ensure you have enough time to reach the airport comfortably, we recommend a private transfer from Sorrento to Naples in the early morning, followed by a high-speed train from Naples to Rome. This would allow you to reach Rome several hours before your flight. Please note that the private transfer comes with a supplementary cost at $150 USD.

We suggest being at the Rome airport 4 to 3 hours before a flight just in case of delays, etc. Just in case of traffic conditions or train delays, leaving Sorrento in the morning is suggested.

Yes, the return train travel to Rome is included in the program, as well as the guided tour of Pompeii with entrance tickets. For pre- and post-tour stays in Rome, hotel rates tend to fluctuate frequently based on season and availability. For this reason, we recommend securing the main tour first. Once that's booked, we can assist with adding hotel nights before or after your trip and provide you with the most accurate rates and options available at that time.
