Itinerary
- Day 1
Ubud
You'll arrive in Ubud, Bali's cultural center, where there's a welcome meeting with your group leader at 6 pm. If you get there early, wander through the traditional market stalls, grab coffee at a local café, or try a yoga class. After meeting everyone, the group might head out for dinner together at a local restaurant.

- Day 2
Ubud
A guided walking tour takes you through Ubud village with a local leader showing you rice fields and Alang Alang Valley. You'll visit a Balinese home where they prepare traditional coffee and perform an offering ceremony. After that, you have free time to check out cafés, galleries, and shops around town. Later this evening, you'll watch a traditional Kecak dance performance featuring human chanting that creates a unique and memorable show.

Ubud to Sidemen
This relatively easy bike tour winds through backstreets, villages, and rice fields with mostly downhill sections so you won't get too tired. You'll stop at small carved temples for photos or rest whenever you need a break. Lunch happens back in Ubud, then you'll head to Sidemen, a peaceful village with views of Mt Agung, Bali's highest peak. The area here feels removed from typical tourist spots.

Sidemen to Sibetan
Start with a morning walk through Sidemen's rice terraces, visiting local craftspeople and village temples. Check into your homestay and you have the afternoon free to explore or just rest. Dinner features local salak (snake fruit) prepared by villagers.

Sibetan to Lake Batur
A guided walk through an ancient Salak Plantation lets you interact with locals and see heritage plants, including a white mango tree from the 16th century. Lunch is Tipat Blayag with chicken and vegetables, wrapped in young coconut leaves. After eating, you'll drive up the crater rim road to a fishing village on Lake Batur's edge where Mt Batur's caldera looms over the water.

Lake Batur to Lovina
You'll start around 3 am for the walk to Mt Batur's summit to catch the sunrise. On clear mornings you might see Mt Rinjani's peaks across the Lombok Strait. The sunrise over Bali's valleys tends to be the trip's highlight, though weather can change and clouds sometimes block the view. After coming down, you can soak in hot springs with views of the lake and caldera. Later you'll travel to Lovina, a coastal town known for dolphins, good food, massages, and yoga.

Lovina
Check out a traditional market in the morning, then head to Menjangan Island for snorkeling around the coral reefs in Bali Barat National Park. The afternoon includes coffee at Global Kafe, whose profits support the Global Village Foundation providing wheelchairs and mobility aids. This evening you'll learn about Balinese cooking at Ibu Wayan's, then enjoy a home-cooked meal.

Lovina to Sanur
You'll leave Lovina and travel toward Sanur, stopping at Gitgit waterfall and Lake Bratan on the way. Once in Sanur, the afternoon is free so you can walk along Bali's first beachfront promenade, watch fishermen in the shallow water, or relax at beachside restaurants. The town maintains Balinese traditions well, and there are ancient temples just a short distance from the beach to visit.
