- 8 Day Livin' The Dream Surf Adventure
I did this tour at the beginning of September, I loved it so much. I met my guide in Sydney and traveled with everyone in my group to coffs harbour we played games on the train slept and watched movies so time went fairly quick. Once we arrived at camp we were shown around, the location of this surf camp is unreal the beach is postcard perfect so of course this was a perfect opportunity to let everyone in rainy England see where i was staying. the surf lessons were great so much fun and very informative, by the end of the week they even had me standing so this trip was a complete success. The food was yummy and the accommodation was basic but very clean and comfortable.

Great tour, got to see a lot of Bali in only 4 days! I never would have had the opportunity to see for my short time holiday. An authentic Bali experience brought together with a local great tour leader, my highlight was the beach dinner, see some amazing temples and get to taste most of the local fruits in Bedugul! Woul book another tour again with Bali Trip Mate in an instant for my next Bali and Nusa Penida trip!

The trip was amazing, all the accomodation was much better than I expected and activities were great with just the right balance between fun and cultural. Stacia was an amazing leader and although I came into the tour later on made me feel comfortable right from the start and her guidance and knowledge throughout the trip was amazing. In Bali, both Kuta Beach and Canggu work well for learning - the water stays a pleasant 80°F (27°C) year-round. If you're looking for reliable waves, check out Taghazout in Morocco. The conditions there are good pretty much any time you visit. When is the best time to go on a surfing tour?
The best time really depends on where you want to go. If you're heading to Byron Bay in Australia, book between September and April when the water's warmer and waves are consistent. For Morocco's Taghazout, winter (October-March) brings bigger waves of 6-8 feet (2-2.5 meters). In Bali, plan your trip during dry season (April-October) when you'll find steady waves around 3-5 feet (1-1.5 meters).
