i was travelling through Indonesia for three weeks, the first week i was in Sumatra, second in Java and third one on my itinerary was Bali. The Bali part was booked as 4 days tour, "Bali Authentic Experience 27 - 30 October 2019, sold by The Bali Trip Mate travel agency and I absolutely LOVED it. it happened that i was the only traveller who booked that tour on that date, so it was like me, myself on my private tour. The service provided by The Bali trip mate was exceptional. The tour guide Riki and the driver Diky were unbeatable tandem in their effort and over the border willingness to make my visit to Bali unforgettable, and guess what, they succeeded 100 %. Riki brought history of Bali to life and with charismatic and knowledgeable descriptions i learned so much in such a short time, while Diky the driver, what to say,,, in all that Bali traffic craziness, never for a second i felt unsafe, actually enjoyed the ride very much, so dear Diky keep beeping :) These trip without you, would be just few hundred kilometres more of sightseeing, but with you, it was icing on the cake to my Indonesia experience. Absolutely amazing tour with such incredible guys! Adam and Mat are incredible at what they do and it’s so obvious how passionate they are about it. We arrived two days early and they were there with smiles on their faces at the airport and instantly made you feel at ease. They gave us itineraries of what to do and where to eat even before the tour had started! Throughout the tour they were so helpful, happy and friendly and we were lucky enough to have an absolute legend of a local guide (Arni) with us too. The guys were absolutely fantastic, always ensured everything ran smoothly. The accommodation was so much more than I expected, the places we stayed were incredible. We didn’t have one bad meal throughout our whole time in Sri Lanka (which is amazing for Asia) and the activities were out of this world!! We stayed around Sri Lanka after the trip and the guys never stopped helping us with our onward travel plans too. If you’re thinking about doing a trip to South East Asia, absolutely chose the guys at feel free travel, you won’t regret it!!

In Bali, both Kuta Beach and Canggu work well for learning - the water stays a pleasant 80°F (27°C) year-round. If you're looking for reliable waves, check out Taghazout in Morocco. The conditions there are good pretty much any time you visit. When is the best time to go on a surfing tour?
The best time really depends on where you want to go. If you're heading to Byron Bay in Australia, book between September and April when the water's warmer and waves are consistent. For Morocco's Taghazout, winter (October-March) brings bigger waves of 6-8 feet (2-2.5 meters). In Bali, plan your trip during dry season (April-October) when you'll find steady waves around 3-5 feet (1-1.5 meters). How long are typical surfing lessons on these tours?
Most lessons run for 2-3 hours, including time for beach instruction before you hit the water. At Spot X Surf Camp in Australia, you'll spend about 90 minutes in the water during morning lessons. In Taghazout, they split up the sessions between morning and afternoon - this way you can rest between sessions and catch the best waves of the day.
