Our guide for the tours (Adele) was extremely knowledgeable although a bit difficult to understand at times. Didn't like that were brought to a number of markets (papyrus, essential oils etc.) as part of the tour and subjected to pressure sales. About 2 months after booking, the travel agency (Egyptology Travel) increased the price already paid by 17.5 percent. The Nile cruise was well organized, the guide very educated. What was annoying was the constant excessive expectation of tips. Of the 3 nights, we spent two in Luxor. The huge number of ships parked so close together that you can't see out the window and there is a tremendous amount of noise from the neighboring ship. Who expects a romantic boat trip, is here out of place. The program was very good and structured, even if the entrance fees for the temples and tombs are excessive.Show moreTrip date: October 2023
