Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Dades Valley
You'll meet up in Marrakech and head into the High Atlas Mountains, driving through North Africa's highest pass into the Glaoua territory. The route takes you past ancient kasbahs and fortified granaries as you make your way toward Ouarzazate. There's a lunch stop along the way, and you'll spend time exploring Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO site that's been used for major film productions. By evening, you'll drive through several oases and end up in the Dades Valley, a lush area that's quite different from the desert terrain you've been crossing.

- Day 2
Dades Valley to Sahara Desert
After breakfast, you'll drive along the Todra valley with fruit orchards lining the route, heading toward Todra Gorge where towering rock walls create an impressive landscape. From there, the drive continues into the desert plains, and you'll leave your luggage at a nearby hotel before getting on camels for a trek into the dunes. You'll have free time to explore the desert on your own, then gather for sunset viewing followed by a Moroccan dinner around a campfire with live music playing overhead under the stars.

- Day 3
Sahara Desert
You'll wake at dawn to catch the desert sunrise (if you want to), then have breakfast and a couple hours to relax before joining a 4WD off-road tour. The excursion includes visiting desert nomads in their tents, checking out the high rocky plateau for panoramic views, and exploring the abandoned mining village of Mifis where ancient fossils are visible. Around lunch, you'll head to Khamlia Village for gnawa music and Berber pizza. Later, you'll see the seasonal lake and oasis of Merzouga before heading back to the Kasbah to rest. In the afternoon, another camel ride takes you into the pink dunes for sunset, after which there's a Moroccan meal with live music around the campfire and a night sleeping in Berber tents.

Sahara Desert to Ouarzazate
You'll wake at dawn to see the desert sunrise again (at your request), have a light breakfast with tea, then ride camels back across the desert to the Kasbah so you can freshen up. From there, the journey heads north toward the Atlas Mountains with a lunch stop in N'kob that offers mountain views. You'll arrive in Ouarzazate by the end of the day, known locally as the 'Hollywood of Morocco' due to major film productions like Gladiator and Game of Thrones being shot there.

- Day 5
Ouarzazate to Marrakech
After breakfast, you'll explore Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site that's also known for its role in films. Then you'll head north across the High Atlas Mountains toward Marrakech, the 'Southern Pearl' of Morocco and an ancient imperial city. You'll arrive by afternoon with plenty of time to wander through the vibrant streets, check out the bustling souks and market stalls, and explore at your own pace before the evening settles in.
