Itinerary
- Day 1
Bari
You'll arrive at the airport and get picked up for your transfer to the hotel. Once you're settled in, the rest of the day is yours to do what you like, whether that's relaxing at the hotel or wandering around Bari to get a feel for the place.

Bari
After breakfast, your tour leader takes you through Bari's old town on a guided walk. You'll see the Basilica of San Nicola, the Norman-Swabian Castle, Piazza Mercantile, and the Column of Justice. Later in the afternoon you have time to grab lunch at a local trattoria or try some street food before dinner.

Bari to Trani to Castel del Monte to Alberobello
Following breakfast, you'll travel by coach to Trani to check out the old town and the Cathedral sitting right above the sea. From there you head to Castel del Monte, the mysterious octagonal fortress built in the 13th century that's a UNESCO site. Then it's on to Alberobello where you'll see the cone-shaped Trulli houses, another UNESCO location with centuries of history.

Alberobello to Matera to Alberobello
You'll have breakfast and then take the coach to Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage city unlike anything else. Wandering through the Sassi di Matera cave dwellings gives you a real sense of ancient life, and visiting the Romanesque Cathedral with its bell tower lets you take in views across the region. By late afternoon you head back to Alberobello for dinner and the night.

Alberobello to Locorotondo to Ostuni to Lecce
After breakfast, you travel to Locorotondo, one of Puglia's striking white towns, and have time to walk around and explore on your own. Next you'll head to Ostuni, positioned between the Trulli area and Salento with olive groves stretching out below. Then you continue on to Lecce in the Salento region, arriving in time for dinner and to settle in for the night.

Lecce to Otranto to Lecce
Following breakfast, you get a 3-hour guided tour of Lecce, known as the 'Florence of the South' for its Baroque character. You'll walk through the old town, see the 12th-century Cathedral, visit the Basilica of Santa Croce, and check out Piazza del Duomo. Later you head to Otranto for lunch and free time by the sea and at its Cathedral. Evening brings you to Masseria L'Uliveto farmhouse for traditional dinner before returning to Lecce.

Lecce to Martina Franca to Masseria Montenapoleone to Monopoli to Bari
You'll travel back toward Bari crossing through the Murge plateau. A stop in Martina Franca lets you see elegant Baroque palaces, ornate churches, and Piazza Plebiscito. Then at Masseria Montenapoleone you'll learn to make traditional Puglian pasta in a hands-on class and eat lunch with what you've made. Before reaching Bari you also visit Monopoli, the historic coastal town, then settle in for the night.
