Itinerary
- Day 1
London to Dublin
You'll start at London Euston Station and catch the 09:02 train to Holyhead, which takes about 3 hours 40 minutes as it cuts through England and hugs the North Wales coast. After a quick bus transfer, you'll board the Irish Ferries 'Ulysses' for a 3 hour 15 minute ferry crossing to Dublin. The ship has restaurants, bars, a cinema, and a promenade deck if you want to get some air during the crossing. You arrive in Dublin at 17:25 and then head to your hotel in Dublin City Centre.

- Day 2
Dublin
Have a full Irish breakfast to start, then the day is yours to explore Dublin using your 48-hour Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour ticket that's included. The buses have live commentary from drivers approved by Fáilte Ireland who'll tell you about the city's history and stories as you go around. You can hop off whenever something interests you or stay on for the full route.

Landmarks/POIs Dublin City Centre - Day 3
Dublin to Inis Mór
After breakfast, head to Dublin Heuston Station for the 07:35 train heading west. You'll pass through Dublin's suburbs, then the green countryside of County Kildare, go by the famous Curragh racecourse, and travel across the Bog of Allen with its peat-lands before reaching Galway. From there, a transfer takes you to Connemara Airport for a short flight out to Inis Móir on the Aran Islands. Once you're there, you'll visit Seven Churches and Dún Aonghusa, a pre-Christian fort with dramatic sea-cliffs facing the Atlantic. Stop in Kilronan village for lunch, then return to Galway where you have free time to wander the city centre before heading back to Dublin.

- Day 4
Galway to Dublin to London
Eat a full Irish breakfast, then your Railtours Ireland host will transfer you to Dublin ferryport. The Irish Ferries 'Ulysses' departs at 08:05 and reaches Holyhead at 11:30. You'll board your train from Holyhead at 12:38 for the journey back to London, arriving at Euston Station at 16:38 if it's Monday through Saturday, or 16:44 on Sunday (with a change at Crewe that day).
