  • Dolomites Explorer From Venice - 7 days reviewer 1

I really enjoyed the tour and our guide Amato was EXCELLENT! I especially appreciated that it was a small group tour of only 6, plus our guide. My disappointment was that for a "Dolomites Explorer tour" very little time was spent "exploring" the Dolomites and more time exploring small villages. We only had one real day where I felt we were "exploring," and hiking around Alpine lakes and the Dolomite mountains. Also, the first full day was spent on a half-day tour of Venice with nearly 100 other people. Most of our group of skipped first day and joined on day 3. I wish I had known that I had that option, so I could have saved some money on a shorter tour. If you want a guided tour of the area around the Dolomites, this is a great tour. If you want to hike in the mountains and explore a bit of the outdoors, I'd suggest finding something different.

Fantastic tour. Great tour leader who took us to extra places. He was always courteous and obliging. We loved all the sights and hotels were better than expected. Francesco’s English and comprehension could improve. Gilberto the driver was fantastic, funny A1 driver and our vehicle was spotless. We had a really perfect tour and will recommend it to friends.

Can you tell me what time the 7 day tour would arrive in Milan so we can see if we need to book a nights accommodation in Milan before starting that tour. The info says the Milan tour starts at 17:00hours on the first night, so not sure whether we would be there on time.

    • On The Go ToursOperatorWritten October 2024

We have heard back from our local team and they advise the tour ends in Milan at 04.00/04.30Pm approx, of course exact time cannot be guaranteed as it depends on traffic conditions and different factors
