Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Athens
Your flight brings you into Athens where a driver with English language skills picks you up and takes you to your hotel. Once you get there, someone from the hotel team will go over all the trip details and fill you in on what the city has to offer. After that, the rest of your day is open so you can wander around on your own and get a feel for the place.

Athens Free Day with Evening Walking Tour
After breakfast you have the whole day to check out Athens however you like. Go see the famous spots or just walk around the city center at your own pace, whatever sounds good. In the evening you'll join a guided walking tour through several historic districts including Anafiotika, Thisio, Monastiraki, and Plaka where you'll see narrow streets and old neighborhoods.

Athens to Nafplio via Daphne, Corinth Canal, and Mycenae
Following breakfast you pick up your rental car and head south toward the Argolis region covering about 148 kilometers total. First stop is Daphne Monastery, an ancient Byzantine site with incredible Byzantine art inside. From there you'll drive through the Corinth Canal, a major engineering achievement built back in 1893. Later you reach Mycenae where you can walk through one of Ancient Greece's most significant archaeological areas and see the Lion's Gate and Treasure of Atreus. The day ends in Nafplio where you'll stay the night.

Nafplio to Olympia via Arcadia and Optional Kalavryta or Train Experience
You'll spend your morning in Nafplio checking out the town and visiting a local olive oil mill to sample Greek olives and learn how they're made. Then you drive through the Arcadia mountains toward Olympia, a journey of 157 kilometers. Along the way you have a choice: either explore the Cave of the Lakes near Kalavryta or take the scenic Odontotos train through Vouraikos Gorge if you prefer that route. Once you arrive in Olympia you'll visit the ancient Olympic stadium dating back to 776 BC and learn about its role as a sanctuary dedicated to Zeus.

Olympia to Delphi via Rio-Antirio Bridge, Nafpaktos, and Galaxidi
After breakfast you leave Olympia and cross the Rio-Antirio Bridge, which is the longest cable bridge in Europe at 212 kilometers for the full day's drive. You'll stop in Nafpaktos to see the old port and castle with views overlooking the Gulf of Corinth. Next comes the charming fishing village of Galaxidi where you can walk along beautiful beaches. By evening you reach Delphi, a World Heritage Site that served as the center of the ancient world. You'll visit the famous Delphi Oracle site before settling in at your hotel for the night.

Delphi to Athens via Mount Parnassos, Arachova, and Levadeia
This morning you head back toward Athens, driving along the slopes of Mount Parnassos which reaches 2457 meters high, with 186 kilometers to cover. You'll stop in Arachova, a well-known winter resort town where you can browse taverns and handicraft shops. If you're interested there's an optional stop in Levadeia, an ancient town that thrived because of its famous oracle of Trophonius located in a cave. Once you get back to Athens you'll return your rental car at the station.

Departure from Athens
At your scheduled time, a driver will come pick you up and take you to Athens Airport for your international flight home or wherever you're heading next. You'll check in your luggage and have the chance to browse duty-free shops and take advantage of any tax refunds on purchases you've made during the trip.
