Itinerary
- Day 1
Athens
You'll arrive in Athens and get transported to your hotel with an English-speaking assistant handling the logistics. After settling in, you'll meet with a tour representative in the afternoon who covers important details about your trip and gives you information about the city. The evening and remaining daylight hours are open for you to walk around Athens on your own and get a feel for the place.

- Day 2
Athens
This day is yours to navigate Athens independently using a 48-hour Hop On-Hop Off Tourist Bus pass that comes in multiple languages. You can check out the Acropolis, the Parthenon, wander through Plaka and Monastiraki, and see other historic neighborhoods at your own pace. If you want some structure later, there's an optional guided walk through Athens' nicest districts with an English-speaking guide in the evening.

Athens to Kalambaka
You'll head to Larissa station in central Athens and board a train to Kalambaka, passing through beautiful Greek countryside along the way. Once you arrive, you'll be transferred to your hotel. That afternoon, you start a sunset tour of the Meteora area, visiting Agios Stefanos or Roussanou monastery, the Byzantine church of the Virgin Mary, old hermitages, and climbing up to the Meteora rocks themselves to catch views as the sun goes down.

Kalambaka to Volos
After breakfast, you'll take a morning tour of the Meteora monasteries with your driver, learning about their history and getting chances to take photos from various viewpoints. Around 14:00/2 PM, you'll be transferred to Volos, a nice port city at the base of Mount Pelion. The rest of the afternoon and evening are free, and dinner at one of the traditional mezes restaurants is something to consider.

Landmarks Meteora - Day 5
Volos to Alonissos
After breakfast, you're heading out on a ferry to Alonissos, traveling through the Sporades archipelago. Once you land, you'll be transferred to your hotel. From there, you can spend the rest of the day exploring the island on your own. You might check out Chorio, the old capital on a hill with restored traditional houses, the 15th-century Venetian fort with sea views, or walk through Patitiri's stone-paved waterfront.

Alonissos
This is a free day on Alonissos where you can do whatever appeals to you. Explore the island's thick vegetation, pine forests, and olive groves, or spend time on the different beaches. The National Marine Park is there if you want to go diving and see 5th-century BC shipwrecks underwater, or you can simply relax on Kokino Castro or Agios Dimitrios beaches. Come evening, grab fresh fish and seafood at one of the local taverns.

Alonissos to Skopelos
After breakfast, you'll transfer to the Alonissos port and take a ferry to Skopelos. This island gained fame as the filming location for Mamma Mia!. You'll be transported to your hotel and then have the rest of the day to yourself exploring Chora, the capital, which sits on a hilltop and slopes down toward the port in an amphitheater shape.

Landmarks Chora - Day 8
Skopelos
You'll have a full day to explore Skopelos' different spots, walk through traditional streets, and eat at local taverns. Visit the Mamma Mia! filming locations like Agios Ioannis at Kastri church where the wedding scene was shot, the well-known Kastani beach, and the more secluded Panormos and Milia beaches on the southwest side. Consider renting a car, motorbike, or small boat to reach spots that are harder to access.

Skopelos to Skiathos
After breakfast, you'll transfer to the port and ferry over to Skiathos, the most well-known Sporades island sometimes called the 'Capri of the Aegean'. It's the only island in the group with an airport handling both domestic and international flights, particularly during summer months. You'll arrive, check into your hotel, and then have the evening to explore the town however you like.

Skiathos
After breakfast, you have a free day on Skiathos to make your own plans. You could rent a boat to visit the famous Lalaria beach with its calm water and dramatic surrounding cliffs. Another option is checking out Kastro, the old medieval capital with a 14th-century fortress reached by a winding road or boat, where you'll find wild natural scenery and historical ruins.

Skiathos to Athens
After breakfast, you'll head to Skiathos Airport and fly back to Athens. Once you land, you can explore the city center, have traditional Greek food at a tavern, shop for souvenirs, grab coffee, and look at the illuminated Lycabettus mountain in the distance while thinking back on everything you've done.
