  1. Day 1

    Muscat

    You'll touch down at Muscat airport where your guide meets you holding a welcome sign. After the drive to your hotel, you can settle in and relax before heading to dinner. The welcome buffet has both local Arab dishes and international options, so there's something for everyone.

  2. Day 2

    Muscat

    The city tour kicks off at 8:30 AM starting with the Grand Mosque. From there, you'll walk along the Muttrah Corniche and check out the Muttrah Souq where you can find frankincense and traditional Omani daggers. Next, you'll see the Al Alam Palace with its flanking Portuguese forts, then spend time at the Bait Al Zubair Museum learning about Oman's history before heading back to your hotel.

  3. Day 3

    Muscat to Sur to Rass Al Hadd

    Starting at 9:00 AM, you'll drive through mountain landscapes toward Quriyat to reach the Bimmah Sinkhole. Later, you'll head to Wadi Shab where you'll take a fishing boat through the canyon and swim in the pools while exploring a cave with a waterfall. After lunch at a local spot, you'll travel to Sur to check in. Following dinner at 7:30 PM, you'll drive to Ras Al Jinz around 9:00 PM to watch turtle nesting (though this depends on nature and isn't guaranteed).

  4. Day 4

    Rass Al Hadd to Wahiba Sands

    After breakfast, a 4WD takes you through rugged mountains to Wadi Bani Khalid, which has clear waters and is one of Oman's nicest wadis. You'll grab lunch and then continue to Wahiba Sands in the Sharqiyah Desert where you'll stay at Desert Night Camp. In the afternoon, you'll do a 4WD safari across 150-meter dunes, watch the sunset, have Arabic food, and sit by a campfire under the stars.

  5. Day 5

    Wahiba Sands to Nizwa

    You'll start early with breakfast at the desert camp, then head out on a 4WD expedition to visit a local Bedouin house and try traditional Omani coffee. Next, you'll make your way toward Jebel Akhdar and stop at Birkat Al Mauz to walk through the palm plantations. The drive takes you up the Jebel Akhdar Mountains with dramatic canyons and terraced fields before arriving at your hotel in Nizwa.

    Nizwa

    After breakfast, you'll catch the sunrise over the green mountains. Then you'll visit Misfat Al Abriyeen with its terraced date palms and old houses, followed by Al Hamra, one of Oman's oldest villages with clay houses that go back nearly 400 years. Following lunch, you'll head to the summit of Jebel Shams at 3,009 meters to see Oman's 'Grand Canyon' and enjoy the cooler temperatures before returning to Nizwa.

    Nizwa to Bahla to Muscat

    Starting at 8:30 AM, you'll explore Nizwa Fort with its large circular cannon tower and museum. After the traditional Nizwa Souq, you'll travel to Bahla to see its UNESCO World Heritage Site fort and pottery traditions. Next comes historic Jabreen Castle, built in 1675, known for its painted ceilings and its past as a center for astrology, medicine, and law studies. You'll return to Muscat by evening.

    Muscat

    Starting at 8:30 AM, you'll take a scenic route to Nakhal Fort, a 17th-century site with nice views from its battlements. Then you'll head to Nakhal Hot Springs, which are valued for their therapeutic qualities and have been a relaxation spot for centuries. After checking these places out, you'll return to Muscat and your hotel.

    Muscat

    You'll be picked up at your hotel and transferred to Aj Mouj Marina for a speedboat ride heading west to Dimaniyat Island. Once there, you'll snorkel at two underwater locations to see sea creatures and coral reefs (you might spot dolphins depending on the season). The boat brings you back to Muscat with refreshments onboard, and later that evening you'll have a special farewell dinner before heading to your hotel.

  11. Day 11

    Khasab

    You'll board a wooden dhow for a full-day cruise through the Khor Sham fjord surrounded by mountains and white sandy beaches. At the fjord's entrance, there's a chance to see dolphins. You'll anchor near Telegraph Island and Seebi Island to swim in clear waters with colorful fish around. The cruise runs from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM with soft drinks, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, and a warm lunch included throughout the day.

    This full day takes you on a mountain safari through Jebel Harim via 4WD across mountain landscapes and valleys, reaching 1,784 meters elevation. You'll visit Bait Al Qafl, an old village with traditional ways, explore Khalidiya's natural sanctuary with acacia trees, and see views from Khor-al-Najid. There's a picnic lunch with refreshments, and later you'll do a short trek at Wadi Ain to experience the region's natural surroundings.

    Khasab

    You'll spend three hours exploring Khasab's Old Town, New City, and the Sultan Qaboos Mosque (which is open 09:00-11:00 for visits). While wandering the city, you'll get a feel for its atmosphere before visiting Khasab Fort, originally built by the Portuguese in the 17th century. Then you'll head to Wadi Qada and the village of Tawi at its end to see prehistoric rock carvings from over 2,000 years ago showing camels, ships, and warriors.
