East Coast
Take a drive to Wadi Dayqah Dam and Wadi Al Arbeieen. Cool off with a swim at the 65-foot Bimmah Sinkhole but bring water shoes for the slippery rocks. Stop in Sur to see the traditional dhow factory, then head to Ras Al Jinz for turtle watching. A visitor shared: "Watching sea turtles stumble onto the beach to nest under the stars was unforgettable."

- Days 5-6
Masirah Island & Al Khaluf
- Days 7-9
Salalah Region
- Days 10-11
Mountains
- Day 12
Nizwa & Jabal Akhdar
Hit Nizwa's Friday cattle market early at 6 AM. See the 17th-century fortress, then drive to the Green Mountain to explore terraced farms and old irrigation systems. One traveler noted: "The mountain villages change dramatically with seasons - time your visit around rose water production if possible."

- Days 13-14
Wahiba Sands & Return
- Days 1-2
Muscat & Hajar Mountains
Visit the Grand Mosque early in the morning before it gets hot. Women should cover shoulders and knees and bring a headscarf. The Muttrah Souq is best experienced in late afternoon when it's cooler and locals are out shopping. On your second day take a 4x4 through the Hajar Mountains to Bilad Sayt village. The 4.5-hour drive includes steep switchbacks so bring motion sickness pills if you need them.

- Days 3-4
Nizwa & Jebel Akhdar
Plan to be in Nizwa for the Friday morning livestock market. Visit Nizwa Fort when it opens at 9 AM to avoid crowds and get clear photos from the tower. Before driving up to Jebel Akhdar (Green Mountain) fill your tank completely since services are limited at 6,560ft elevation. If you visit in March you can see the mountain villages during rose harvest season.

- Days 5-6
Wahiba Sands & Coastal Camping
- Days 7-8
Duqm & Wadi Shuwaymiyah
- Days 9-10
Empty Quarter & Salalah
- Day 11

Leave extra time to reach the airport since morning fog can slow you down.

- Natural Wonder Oman
Visiting the Sultanate of Oman ???????? was my old dream. Primarily, I want to note that for a full acquaintance with this amazing country, the help of a qualified specialist is required. I was very lucky to choose "GidOman” , and Ilya, became my tour guide in May this year ,he is a wonderful conductor who loves this country very much and knows it well. “GidOman” developed our excursion program in advance and we traveled around Oman from Muscat to Salalah for 14 days, visiting the most interesting places, spending the night in authentic and very comfortable hotels that booked in advance by GIdOman tour company . Together with the guide we traveled a long distance, visiting all the most famous and popular sights (including those which are under the protection of UNESCO). We visited a lot of amazing places such as Wadi Shab and Wadi Bani Khalid, colorful ancient cities and forts (Al-Hamra, Niza, fort Bahla, Misfat, Sur, Jabrin Castle, etc.), unique natural places (Bimmah sinkhole,Omani Grand Canyon, mountain ranges, oases, caves). Also we spent the night by the ocean near sand "sugar" dunes where I observed the most beautiful starry sky at night and rode on the dunes of the Wahiba desert. During the trip there always was an opportunity to swim in clear crystal sea water on an excellent beach. A visit to the island of Masirah in the Arabian Sea deserves special attention. GidOman bought ferry tickets in advance and we ended up on a paradise island with wonderful white beaches, unique nature and climate (I also recommend it). After our arrival in Salalah, Ilya provided me with a wonderful 2 day tour in the Dhofar region with a visit to different locations such as the ancient city of Samharam, Taka Castle, incense tree plantations, the Incense Museum and much more. I would especially like to note the decency and responsibility of the guide, his ability to work with people and his sincere desire to show tourists as many sights as possible, even beyond the main program. Ilya, thank you very much ,I wish you new professional success . thank you GidOman for organizing our trip and hotels.
