- Cassy· July 7th, 2022The guide Theresa was amazing but I was disappointed with the accommodations. They split the group up. People who booked a single got to stay in a nice hotel overlooking the water and people who booked a double stayed in a rundown hotel down the street. The guide said in the past everyone had stayed at the same hotel so it was disappointing that I paid the same amount for an experience that wasn’t as good. The breakfast in the morning wasn’t worth it.Show moreIntrepid Travel commented on this reviewHi Cassandra - thanks for letting us know how you got on on your Cornish getaway. - SJShankar· May 4th, 2022Communication is hopeless. They took money promptly & then no information till late.Nearer to the time I had to ring the intrepid & then I got some information that was also not correct. Other couple from uk didn’t get any information whatsoever. They just drove Cornwall 5-6 hours and wandered from hotel to hotel. Very poor service & I would never use this service again & ask my acquaintances not to book through them. Intrepid guide Matty was excellent so that made our trip enjoyable at the end.Show moreIntrepid Travel commented on this reviewHi Shankar, thank you for taking the time to share you booking experience. - KPKathryn· April 25th, 2022Once we gathered to start the tour, everything was lovely. Matty Dyas, the tour leader was excellent, attuned to the group, effective in building a cohesive group of travelers. However, communication from Intrepid and TourRadar leave much to be desired. The lack of communication from both the tour broker and tour operator led to a great deal of confusion and anxiety.Show moreIntrepid Travel commented on this reviewHello Kathryn, Thank you so much for taking the time to post your feedback. Asked on January 11th, 2022Is it possible to get a printed brochure of this and other tours in Cornwall? Do any of these tours stop in St. Aistell?
- Intrepid TravelOperator•Written January 2022
Unfortunately we do not have any specific brochures anymore. I have however attached our Trip Notes for both this tour and our Cycle Cornwall tour. It appears that our Cycling trip cycles next to the St Austell river, but I don't believe that either trip stops in the town.
