- Day 1
Lisbon
You'll arrive in Lisbon and get settled at your 4-star hotel. This evening brings a fado show paired with traditional Portuguese dinner at one of the city's iconic fado houses, so you'll get a real taste of local culture right away.

Lisbon
Starting on Avenida da Liberdade with a local guide, you'll head through the city and check out Parque Eduardo VII for views across Lisbon. From there, you'll walk through the historic neighborhoods of Alfama and Bairro Alto before reaching Praça do Comércio with its views of the Tagus River. After lunch, you'll join a cooking class to learn how to make pastéis de nata.

Sintra - Cascais
You'll travel to Sintra, about 30 km from Lisbon, where you'll pick one of the main attractions like Pena Palace, the National Palace, Monserrate, or Quinta da Regaleira. Later you'll head to Cabo da Roca, mainland Europe's westernmost point, for the dramatic ocean views. Then it's on to Cascais, a charming historic fishing village, before heading back to Lisbon along the coastal road through Estoril.

Lisbon to Porto
Heading north to Porto, you'll stop at two of three options: Óbidos (a walled medieval town), Fátima (an important Catholic pilgrimage site), or Coimbra (with its UNESCO World Heritage university). You'll arrive in Porto by evening and check into your hotel.

Porto
A half-day guided tour takes you through Porto's UNESCO city centre, walking past landmarks including Lello Library, the Church of St. Francis, and Palácio da Bolsa. You'll stroll along the Douro riverfront to see the D. Luís Bridge and the Port Wine cellars. Before wine tasting at a Port Wine Cellar, you'll try local food at typical spots. The rest of your day is free to do as you like.

Porto to Douro Valley
After breakfast you'll travel to Pinhão via National Road 222, one of Portugal's most scenic drives with great Douro River views. Your guide shows you Pinhão and the best viewpoints before lunch at a well-known winery. You'll spend the afternoon in the vineyards with a wine tasting, then take a peaceful 1-hour river cruise before heading back to your hotel.

You'll check out and head to the airport for a domestic flight to Ponta Delgada in the Azores. A private transfer takes you to your hotel for a 3-night stay. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city centre and have dinner at a local restaurant sampling regional food.

Furnas - São Miguel
Starting in the Furnas area, you'll stop in Vila Franca do Campo to try the famous local Queijada da Vila sweet. In Furnas valley you'll see volcanic fumaroles and how Cozido das Furnas is cooked in geothermal vents. There's an option to visit Terra Nostra garden with a thermal bath. Later you'll check out Pico de Ferro for valley views, then head to Gorreana tea plantation on the north coast for tea tasting. You'll finish at Santa Iria viewpoint.

Sete Cidades - Lagoa do Fogo
You'll start at a traditional pineapple plantation to taste the famous liqueur, then travel west along the coast. At Vista do Rei you'll see the iconic blue and green twin lakes of Sete Cidades. Later you'll explore Lake Santiago in the crater and the village of Sete Cidades before stopping at Capelas, the old whaling village. You'll visit Ribeira Grande's centre, swim at Caldeira Velha with its warm waterfall, and end at Lagoa do Fogo. On the way back you'll pass Pico da Barrosa for island views.

Whale Watching
You'll head to the whale watching meeting point after breakfast and board a boat for a three-hour trip. The Azores waters have 28 cetacean species, and you'll watch for whales and dolphins along with turtles, birds, and other marine life. After the tour you'll transfer back to your hotel with the afternoon free.
