- Alan· August 19th, 2024Great experience, with my 16 Yr old daughter and her boyfriend. I was getting a little concerned regarding the flight bookings, but booking info arrived about a week prior. We were met at airport in Narsarsuaq by our guild Danni. Luggage loaded into trailer, but we walked the short distance to hotel, we're we met our fellow trekkers and had a group meal. Next day we were off on a 3 day trek. Itinery did have the kayaking first, but trek first probably better way. The views were amazing and apart from immediate area fro. Village we saw only 3 others at a distance. Campsite was in a natural dip, so sheltered if winds got up. Tents were stored in a hut at campsite, so we didn't have to carry them, which was great. Food throughout was good and there was always plenty, so you won't go hungry. I won't go into the details of the views, but they exceeded expectations. There was a nice lake to swim in not too far from the campsite (not the ones you walk past on way to it which don't seem to get deep anywhere close to shore). Not warm but good to get clean. Return to Narsarsuaq was largely reverse of walk in, which was a bit of a shame, but it is the easiest route. Rib trip up fyord was amazing, I won't spoil surprise! And then drop off at Qassiarssuk where we stayed in hostel overnight prior to walk over peninsula to start of Kayaking trek. Luggage was driven over, so just a small day pack. After lunch we geared up. Packed kayaks and off through the icebergs. Camping at same place for 2 nights saved time, breaking up camp. Numerous seals, white tailed eagles etc. Fyord was a little chillier than the lake for bathing, but not too bad, and although tidal, was not very salty.Show more

Asked on April 28th, 2024when do i have to shedule my arrival in reykjavik or kopenhagen? Is time enough on the same day or do i have to arrive the day before?! PLease send me your flight-times that i can plan arrival and departue.
- TasermiutOperator•Written April 2024
We always recommend to arrive one day before if possible or if not with time enough because if you have a delay in your flight to Iceland you can lose the connection to Greenland and there is no other flight on that day and you take the risk of losing your trip.
