When I left my cell phone at the Rome hotel, he was able to have it sent to our hotel in Florence. He had a thorough knowledge of Italy (its history, suggested free time activities, restaurants cuisines, and transportation alternatives). My wife and I have been on numerous tours, and we both felt that Federico was one of the best tour managers we have experienced.
