Itinerary
- Day 1
Aswan
Your tour begins when you arrive in Aswan, where a representative will meet you at either the airport or railway station. From there, you'll head to the Aswan High Dam to see the massive structure that controls the Nile's flow, then move on to Philae Temple, which sits on an island in the river. After that, you'll board your cruise ship where lunch is waiting, and you can settle in with afternoon tea as the boat gets ready to sail. You'll spend the night on the cruise, so get comfortable in your cabin and enjoy the evening.

Aswan to Edfu via Kom Ombo
This day starts very early, around 4:30 AM, when the group heads out on an optional tour to Abu Simbel Temple Complex. The rock-cut temples here were built for King Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari, and they're carved directly into the cliff face. After exploring these temples, you'll return to the cruise by noon for lunch. Later, the ship sails to Kom Ombo, where at 7:00 PM you'll visit the double temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris. Then it's back on the cruise as you sail toward Edfu through the night.

Edfu to Luxor
Early morning at 6:00 AM, you'll arrive at Edfu Temple, one of Egypt's most well-preserved temples dedicated to the god Horus. A guide takes you through the complex via horse carriage, and you'll head back to the ship around 7:30 AM. The cruise sails from Edfu to Luxor with a stop at Esna. In the afternoon, you'll visit Luxor Temple and then move on to the Karnak Temple complex, where you can walk through the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 massive 70-foot columns. After these temples, you stay overnight in Luxor.

Luxor West Bank
After breakfast, you leave the cruise and head to Luxor's west bank to see the Ancient Theban Necropolis. The Valley of Kings is your main stop, where over 60 pharaohs are entombed in cliffs. From there, you'll see the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, which are what's left of Amenophis III's funerary temple. The tour wraps up around 2:00 PM, and you get a transfer to wherever you need to go, whether that's the train station, airport, or your hotel.
