Itinerary
- Day 1
Bari to Trani
You'll arrive in Bari on your own and make your way to Trani. This evening starts with a panoramic sunset tour where you'll see the cathedral overlooking the sea, then walk through the port and the old Jewish quarter. Afterward, grab an aperitif with views of the tourist port before heading to your accommodation for the night.

Andria - Castel del Monte
After breakfast, head out to Andria to visit a traditional dairy where they make mozzarella and burrata by hand. You'll have the option to try making your own if you're interested. The afternoon takes you to Castel del Monte, a mysterious UNESCO castle built by Frederick II, with a guided historical tour included. From there, you'll return to Trani for a traditional dinner.

Altamura - Matera
Start the day with breakfast, then travel to Altamura to see a traditional bakery and taste the region's famous bread along with local items like the creamy 'nun's tit' dessert. Later you'll head to Matera to walk through the dramatic Sassi district, climb up to scenic viewpoints, and visit the rock churches Madonna dell'Idris and San Giovanni Monterrone plus a traditional cave house. You'll return to Trani in the evening for dinner.

Bari - Polignano a Mare - Monopoli
After breakfast, travel to Bari for a guided street food tour through the old city. You'll see the Swabian castle, walk along the 'orecchiette' street, visit the Cathedral of San Sabino and Basilica of San Nicola, and taste local specialties including focaccia and panzerotto. In the afternoon, head to Polignano a Mare to see the terraces overlooking the sea and Lama Monachile beach. Later you'll settle into your new base in Monopoli with dinner.

Alberobello - Locorotondo - Ostuni
After breakfast, transfer to Alberobello, the UNESCO-listed trulli capital. A local guide will show you the Aia Piccola and Rione Monti districts and you'll taste extra virgin olive oil. You'll have a traditional lunch inside a stone trullo, then visit the charming village of Locorotondo. After that, explore Ostuni, known as the 'white city,' where you'll see the brilliant whitewashed historic center, characteristic squares, and the cathedral. You'll return to Monopoli with free time in the evening.

Before heading back to Monopoli for dinner, you'll taste the famous pasticciotto dessert.
