My Feedback on the Bravo Indochina 12 day Back-roads cycle tour. All up my partner and me had a good fun trip experiencing the highlights of Vietnam from Hanoi, Halong Bay all the way down to Ho Chi Minh City while doing the Bravo Indochina Back-roads 12 day cycle tour. The trip went well and largely the weather Gods played their part :-). Unfortunately the timing of the cycle tour saw only my partner and me on the cycle tour - while in same ways this did have its advantages it would also have been good to have a few more people to experience the trip with. Things were generally well arranged/coordinated by Bravo Indochina. I would have given them a 10/10 but on reflection drop this to 8/10 after some changes to accommodation were made without initially discussing this with us and having to chase up on two shuttle transfers from the airport to our hotel and a mix up with the transfer from Mui Ne to our hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. The bicycles were great and were generally mechanically sound and reliable - being a keen cyclist I was more than happy with the bikes arranged by Bravo Indochina albeit it always pays to check everything is tight etc - there were a couple of minor issues which I was able to quickly remedy myself. Also, while I was OK setting up my own bike I wonder whether this is an area Bravo Indochina should consider paying a little more attention too for those who may not be that confident? We felt spending two nights in Mui Ne was probably a little waste of time, While Mui Ne's Coastline is pretty the town does not really have much to offer and I wonder weather dropping a night in Mui Ne in favour of a night in Ho Chi Minh may give travelers a better feel for Vietnams two main centres before going home? The stay in Quang Ngai was also a bit of a waste of time - bit of a weird town TBH with poor hotel selection generally to choose from which made our stay there difficult albeit it was only one night. Hoi An was a highlight and I wonder with there being so much to see in and around Hoi An whether another day/night would have been worthwhile considering - even if this involved another days cycling to another local area above the My Son visit, which was great! Again a further option in sacrifice to the two nights in Mui Ne........ Halong Bay was a super experience and the Tour Guide and boat crew made a great effort to ensure all on board had a good time!! Even though a few things were lost in translation occasionally, the cycling Tour Guide who we met up with in Hue was great as was the support vehicle Driver who we had supporting us on the journey through to Mui Ne - top marks to both!! From a safety perspective, and while I had my own, I would recommend Bravo Indochina provide bikes at least fitted with a rear flashing red light. I always use one when cycling and believe they are cheap insurance when both out on the open road or in traffic in the city! Would I recommend Bravo Indochina? Yes I would, albeit some communication around planning and schedule changes along with shuttle pick up/transfers needs to be improved - I raised this with Bravo Indochina and I did note an improvement over the last few days. From a safety perspective, and while I had my own, I would recommend Bravo Indochina provide bikes at least fitted with a rear flashing red light. I always use one when cycling and believe they are cheap insurance when both out on the open road or in traffic in the city!

I really loved this trip. A perfect way to see rural Vietnam. The trip was very memorable. Dat was an excellent guide Some suggestions (Not criticisms) which may help - Consider selling helpful equipment, and gloves as an extra cost - Consider dinners as optional. They were very good but perhaps had some flexibility

Local cyclists took us on tours that showed the most intimate parts of Vietnam. The food choices, snacks, and continuous education made the tour perfect. Understanding history, culture, and current events with an English speaking guide was more than we could've hoped for.

Tom was wonderful, very accommodating to our needs. Cycling part could be better thought out, definitely spend too much time on the bus and on busy roads but overall it was a good experience and an interesting way to see the country.

Company always took care of everything expertly. The guides were excellent and kept us well informed along the way. Maybe if the biking routes were varied a bit more that would have enhanced the cultural experience as the routes in the different regions did seem a bit repetitive. The transportation and accommodations were also excellent and everybody went above and beyond to ensure we all had a fantastic experience

Can you please let me know more detailed itinerary as from the current one it sounds like the tour starts on the 12th in the evening for dinner. Can you provide times? There are listed 2 different hotel options how do we know which one we will be in? You mention we will be collected from the airport, doesn't everyone fly in at different times? We are planning to come to Hanoi a day earlier as it doesn't sound like we will have enough time there. Will you pick us up from our accommodation? Also at the end of the trip in Ho Ci Minh what time shall we be booking our flights as it's bit clear when we will actually reach the destination.
