Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Kiruna
You'll arrive at Kiruna airport where your driver meets you for the transfer to the husky camp near Jukkasjärvi. After settling into a traditional Kåta cabin with its warming fire, dinner gets served before your guide walks through the itinerary, shows you how to handle the huskies, explains sledge operation, and covers Arctic safety basics. It's mostly an orientation day, so you'll rest up for what comes next.

- Day 2
First Husky Sled Experience
Start by heading to the dog kennels to meet your husky team. Your guide demonstrates how to harness each dog to the sled properly, then you'll take your first run through Lapland's winter landscape at a good pace. Around midday you'll stop for lunch with hot drinks and snacks, then continue on to reach your log cabin in the wilderness. Later, you'll help prepare the dogs' food, fetch water from the lake, and finish the evening with a sauna.

- Day 3
Winter Forest and Tundra Exploration
After tending to the huskies in the morning, you'll have a solid breakfast before heading out for another day of sledding. The route takes you through wintry forest and moorland, eventually reaching the Swedish tundra where the landscape shifts noticeably. Keep your eyes open for reindeer and snow hares along the way. By evening you'll reach camp and have dinner with the other travelers, sharing stories from the day.

- Day 4
Torneälven River and Arctic Silence
Your connection with the husky team deepens as you set off again. This time you'll travel along the frozen Tornéälven river, navigating the safe passages while the dogs pull you forward through the Arctic landscape. The silence out there beyond the Arctic Circle is something you'll really notice, with just the sound of the team and the snow around you.

- Day 5
Team Experience and Fell Landscape
By now you and your fellow travelers move as a coordinated unit with the huskies. The morning involves dog care tasks like preparing food and chopping wood for the camp. Then you'll head out again to explore more of Lapland's wilderness, listening to the steady sound of paws on snow and feeling the sled beneath you. You'll navigate through gentle hills and dips in the fells before reaching camp for the evening.

- Day 6
Nordic Solitude and Northern Lights
You'll travel deeper into the snow-covered forests of Lapland, driving the sled with confidence while surrounded by Nordic solitude. Watch for tracks left by moose, Arctic foxes, and capercaillie in the snow. If you're lucky, the dark midwinter sky may display the Northern Lights, with green and purple auroras dancing overhead. You'll have a steaming mug in hand while taking in the view.

- Day 7
Return to Husky Farm and Reflection
The huskies take you through the landscape one final time. Around midday the husky farm appears on the horizon, signaling the end of your adventure. When you arrive, you'll remove the harnesses and prepare the dogs' last meal. That evening brings a farewell dinner with your fellow travelers where you'll all reflect on the memories, obstacles you overcame, and the remote parts of Lapland you've seen together.

- Day 8
Departure from Kiruna
You'll say goodbye to the huskies and exchange contact information with the other adventurers. Your driver takes you to Kiruna airport for your flight home. From above, you'll get one more view of the untouched snowy landscape as you leave, and you'll likely spend the flight reviewing photos and thinking back on your time in the Arctic.
