    Your guide will meet you at Santa Cruz airport and take you to your hotel. Get settled in and relax after your travel.

    Santa Cruz

    Start with breakfast, then walk through Santa Cruz's main avenues and the city's distinctive rings that separate different areas. You'll pass through various squares and see historical monuments along the way. Stop for traditional regional coffee and pastries, then visit a museum of your choice. The rest of the afternoon is yours to spend however you'd like.

    Santa Cruz to Uyuni

    Early breakfast before heading to the airport for your domestic flight to Uyuni. Once there, check out Colchani village to see how salt gets processed, then move into the salt flats themselves. You'll see salt mounds, the Eyes of Water springs, the Salt Museum, and Incahuasi Island where ancient giant cacti cover the landscape. Lunch happens right there in the flats, and you'll stay to watch the sunset before heading back to Colchani for the night at a salt hotel.

    Uyuni Desert

    After breakfast, visit the Train Cemetery where old steam locomotives sit preserved. From there, head to San Cristobal village and take in views of Ollague Volcano, which rises to 5,865 meters. You'll pass through several lagoons including Cañapa, Hedionda, Honda, Charcota, and Ramaditas as you continue through the region. Lunch comes along the route, and there's time in the Siloli Desert before returning for dinner and an overnight stay.

    Uyuni

    Following breakfast, see the Stone Tree, a mushroom-shaped rock formation carved by wind over time. Visit the Red Lagoon, which gets its striking color from algae and zooplankton in the water. Check out the active Geysers where steam shoots up about 50 meters high, then relax in the hot springs at Polques. Later, head to Green Lagoon with its bright emerald waters and views of Licancabur Volcano before returning to Uyuni for the night.

    La Paz to Copacabana to Sun Island

    Early breakfast before heading to the bus station for a 3 to 4 hour tourist bus ride to Copacabana, which sits at 3,810 meters altitude. Cross the Tiquina Strait by motorboat (about 20 minutes), then take another boat to Sun Island. Visit Pilcokaina Palace and have a traditional Apthapi lunch with potatoes, dried potato, broad beans, wheat, cheese, banana, and eggs. Walk through the Community of Yumani to see the Inca Garden, Sacred Fountain, and the Yumani Stairway. Back in Copacabana, visit the Catholic Church and browse the local market before returning to La Paz.

You'll explore the Akapana Pyramid, Semi-Subterranean Temple, Kalasasaya Temple, and the Sun Gate. Also see the Ponce Monolite and Puma Punku Complex, which is a strategically aligned man-made terraced platform. Head back to your hotel with the afternoon free to do whatever you'd like.
