- Day 1
Arrival in Hanoi
You'll touch down at Noi Bai airport where your driver meets you for the transfer into the city center. After checking into your hotel and getting settled, you'll head out in the afternoon for a food tour through Hanoi Old Quarter. Your guide will walk you through the narrow streets, stopping at local spots to try different dishes and hear stories about how the city's neighborhoods developed and what the food means to people here.

Hanoi Historical Sites
This morning starts with breakfast before your guide meets you in the hotel lobby. From there, you're spending the full day moving through Hanoi's major historical sites. You'll see Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, then head to Temple of Literature with its quiet courtyards and traditional Vietnamese architecture. The day also includes time at various pagodas and museums scattered through the city, each one adding pieces to Vietnam's long and complicated history.

Ninh Binh and Trang An Grottoes
After breakfast, you're heading south to Ninh Binh for the day. This place held Vietnam's capital back in the 10th century, and you'll visit Hoa Lu to see temples from that era. The real highlight is the boat trip through Trang An grottoes, where you'll navigate a winding route through 31 valleys and around 50 caves with forested mountains rising up around you. Wildlife shows up here too if you're lucky. You'll get back to Hanoi by evening.

Ha Long Bay
The drive from Hanoi takes about 3 hours to reach Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with thousands of limestone islands jutting out of the water. Once you board your cruise, lunch happens while you're sailing and watching the scenery go by. Depending on what your specific cruise offers, the afternoon opens up for kayaking between the islands, swimming in designated spots, exploring caves, or just taking in the views from the deck.

Ha Long Bay to Hue
Start your morning with coffee or tea while watching Ha Long Bay wake up, then eat breakfast. You'll spend more time exploring the deeper parts of the bay before the cruise heads back to port. From there, your driver takes you to Noi Bai International Airport for your flight to Hue. Once you land, another transfer brings you to your hotel in the city.

Hue Imperial City
After breakfast, you're exploring Hue, which was the imperial capital during the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945. The Imperial Citadel is your first stop, where you'll walk around and understand how Vietnamese royalty lived and how their architecture reflected their power and beliefs. Later you'll visit royal tombs and old pagodas scattered through and around the city to get a fuller picture of Vietnam's feudal past.

Da Nang, Hoi An and Marble Mountain
You're heading to Da Nang this morning to see Linh Ung Pagoda, which is the largest one in the city, and then Marble Mountain with its caves and viewpoints. After grabbing lunch at a local restaurant, you move on to Hoi An's ancient town. There's the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge to walk across, Phuc Kien Pagoda with its history, and a riverside market where locals buy and sell. Before wrapping up, you'll visit Thanh Ha Pottery Village to watch and learn how artisans make ceramics using traditional methods.

Your morning is free in Hoi An ancient city. You can wander around on your own time, check out anything you missed yesterday, or just relax on one of the nearby beaches. In the afternoon, your driver picks you up and takes you to Da Nang International Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. A transfer from the airport brings you to your hotel.

Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast, your guide meets you to explore Ho Chi Minh City from top to bottom. You'll start at Reunification Palace and then walk through neighborhoods full of French colonial buildings like Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Later you're moving through Chinatown, stopping at Thien Hau Pagoda and Binh Tay Market where the energy and crowds are intense. Following lunch, you'll visit War Remnants Museum to understand Vietnam's more recent past, and finish at Ben Thanh Market before heading back to your hotel.

Around 08:00 your guide picks you up for a full day exploring the Mekong Delta. You'll board a boat and cruise along rivers and canals, pulling over at local workplaces and quiet villages where coconut plantations stretch out in rows. Walking through these areas gives you a sense of how rural life operates here. Lunch happens at a local restaurant in one of these rural spots, then you head back to Ho Chi Minh City.
