Itinerary
- Day 1HanoiYour driver from Legend Travel Group will be waiting at the airport to take you to the hotel. After checking in, you have the rest of the day to yourself—rest up if you need it or start getting a feel for Hanoi at your own pace. Optional Activities- Explore Hanoi city on your own
 
- Day 2HanoiFollowing breakfast, you'll head out with a guide to see Hanoi's main sights. The morning includes Tran Quoc Pagoda on Golden Fish Island, Ho Chi Minh's complex, and the One Pillar Pagoda. After lunch, you'll visit the Vietnam Ethnology Museum (or Women's Museum on Mondays), the Temple of Literature, and Hoa Lo Prison. You'll be back at the hotel by evening. - Meals

- Day 3Hanoi to Halong BayYou'll leave around 8:30-9:00 am for a 3.5-hour drive through the Vietnamese countryside to Halong City. Once there, you'll board a traditional Chinese junk and sail through Halong Bay. There's a cave to see, swimming in the water, and you'll anchor in a quiet spot for the night. Seafood lunch and dinner come with sunset views over the bay. - Meals

- Day 4Halong Bay to Hoi AnGet up early to catch the sunrise over Halong Bay while having breakfast on the boat. You'll pass thousands of islands and stop at a floating fishing village. After lunch, the boat heads back to Halong City pier around 3:30-4:00 pm. Later that evening you'll fly to Hoi An with a hotel transfer, then the night is free for you to wander the ancient town. - Meals

- Day 5Hoi AnDeparting at 8:00 am, you'll drive 50 km southwest to My Son, a site with red brick towers from the 7th to 13th centuries. You'll explore the valley and learn about the Cham civilization and its carved details. Back in Hoi An around 1:00 pm for lunch, then the afternoon is open for shopping—lanterns, custom clothing, and handmade goods are available throughout town. - Meals

- Day 6Hoi An to HueThis full day includes temple and pagoda visits with Chinese and Japanese design elements, plus the Sa Huynh Museum near the Japanese Covered Bridge. You'll take a boat trip on Thu Bon River to Kim Bong Village to see traditional woodworkers and shipbuilders. The drive to Hue includes stops at the Cham Museum, Ngu Hanh Son Mountain in Da Nang (your own ticket), Hai Van Pass for views of Son Tra Peninsula, and Lang Co Beach. - Day 7HueAfter breakfast, a boat trip on the Perfume River takes you to Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue's oldest and most revered temple. You'll also see the mausoleums of Emperor Khai Dinh and Tu Duc. Lunch at a local restaurant features traditional Vietnamese food. The afternoon covers the Imperial Citadel including the Purple Forbidden City, a stop in Thuy Xuan to watch traditional incense-making, and Dong Ba Market for shopping before returning to the hotel. - Meals

- Day 8Hue to Ho Chi Minh CityYou have free time after breakfast to see Hue on your own terms. Then you'll head to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. A Legend Travel Group staff member will pick you up when you land and take you to the hotel, where the rest of the day is yours to rest or explore. - Meals

- Day 9Ho Chi Minh CityAfter breakfast, you'll see Ho Chi Minh City's key sites: Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office designed by Gustave Eiffel, and the Reunification Palace. Following lunch, you'll drive roughly 75 km (about 1.5 hours) to Cu Chi Tunnels. You'll explore the 200 km underground network including trap doors, living spaces, storage areas, weapon factories, hospitals, and command centers. There's time to try simple food and go inside the tunnels before heading back to the hotel. - Meals

- Day 10Ho Chi Minh City to My ThoAt 8:00 am, you'll drive 75 km to My Tho, the Mekong Delta's main city. You'll visit one or two islands to see traditional handcrafts like coconut candy and bee farms. A boat trip takes you to Vinh Trang Pagoda, the oldest in the Mekong Delta, which sits in beautiful gardens with intricate architecture. You'll return to Ho Chi Minh City by evening and stay overnight. - Meals
