Itinerary
- Day 1
Casablanca to Rabat
Your private driver picks you up at Casablanca Mohamed V Airport. Depending on when you arrive, you might check out the Hassan II Mosque before heading to Rabat. Once there, a guide takes you through Morocco's capital, walking past the Royal Palace gates and down the blue streets of the Udayas Kasbah. You'll see Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V before settling in for the night.

- Day 2
Rabat to Chefchaouen
You transfer north into the Rif Mountains, heading to Chefchaouen. After checking into your accommodation, a guide shows you around this charming town. Walk up to the top of the medina wall, wander through the blue streets to Uta El Hammam square, and visit the 15th-century Kasbah with its museum and garden. Later in the evening, head up to the Spanish Mosque on the hill above the city to catch the sunset.

- Day 3
Chefchaouen
This is your free day in Chefchaouen. You can spend it walking the colorful blue streets, stopping at the main square for meals or a drink at Hotel Parador. If you're interested, check out Ras El Ma waterfall where locals wash clothes. For something more active, there's an optional 10-mile hiking trip to Cascade d'Akchour, a challenging trek leading to a large waterfall where you can cool off in the pools.

- Day 4
Volubilis - Moulay Idriss Zerhoun - Meknes - Fes
You head south from Chefchaouen toward Fes, making stops along the way. First, see the ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site from the third century BCE. After that, stop for lunch in the sacred city of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun. Later you'll reach Meknes and explore the old medina, visiting the Tomb of Sultan Moulay Ismail, the Agdal Reservoir, and Heri es-Souani granary. By evening, you drive to Fes.

- Day 5
Fes
Following breakfast, you meet a local guide for a tour of Fes. Start at the Royal Palace and walk through the old Mellah, the Jewish quarter, then head to a Borj tower for panoramic views of the medina. You'll see a mosaic house showing traditional pottery methods and explore the medina's ancient streets with its artisan sections, including the well-known tanneries. Visit the Tomb of Idriss II and Al-Qarawaiyin University. After lunch, the tour ends and you have the rest of the day to explore on your own.

- Day 6
Fes to Sahara Desert
Today starts a long journey to a traditional Sahara encampment. You pass through Africa's largest cedar forest where Atlas monkeys live, cross the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop for lunch in Midelt, then continue through the Ziz River Gorge to reach the large dunes of Erg Chebbi before sunset. Once there, you take a camel trek into the dunes to a luxury camp. Climb the nearest dune to watch the sunset and stars appear, enjoying traditional music and food throughout the night.

- Day 7
Dades Gorge - Tinghir - Todra Gorge - Dades River Valley
Wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, have breakfast at camp, then ride your camel back to the dunes edge where your driver is waiting. You'll visit an ancient irrigation system, then head to the oasis town of Tinghir for a guided walk through the palmeraie and mellah. Afterward, walk through the impressive canyon at Todra Gorge. By evening, you settle in the beautiful Dades River Valley.

Valley of Roses
Today takes you to the neighboring Valley of Roses where you'll visit a local market. You're invited to a local family's home to help prepare a traditional lunch while learning about Moroccan cooking. Spend the afternoon with locals, sharing experiences and stories. Explore more of the valley or visit markets selling rose petal products before saying goodbye to your new friends.

- Day 9
Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech
You travel the Road of the 1,000 Kasbahs to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Morocco. After a quick stop there, you drive to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou to explore its spectacular traditional clay architecture. Then you continue through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass at almost 7,000 feet/2,133 m, making several stops for tea and panoramic views. You arrive in Marrakech in the early evening.

A local city guide meets you for a tour of Marrakech. You'll visit iconic monuments like Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and Koutoubia Mosque. Your guide walks you through the city's souks where you can meet various artisans and learn about their crafts. After the tour, you have free time to explore on your own, shop for souvenirs, try traditional meals, or watch performers at Jemaa el-Fna Square.

- Day 11
Toubkal Massif - Imlil
You say goodbye to Marrakech and head toward the Toubkal Massif valleys. After crossing the Haouz Plain and passing through the village of Asni, you enter the High Atlas Mountains foothills and reach Imlil. Walk around this small village, visit a local hammam for relaxation, and listen to the call to prayer echoing through the mountains. You'll head to bed early to get ready for an early morning trek to Mount Toubkal.

- Day 12
Imlil - Marrakech
You rise before sunrise to begin a long hike to Mount Toubkal's summit at 13,667 feet/4,165 m, the highest peak in North Africa. Navigate through boulders and rocks on this challenging trek, using the spectacular views to push yourself forward. At the summit, celebrate your accomplishment and take in panoramic views of the snowcapped Atlas Mountains. After descending to Imlil, your driver takes you back to Marrakech where you can relax at a hammam or spa.

- Day 13
Marrakech to Essaouira
You head from Marrakech toward Essaouira on the coast. Stop to visit a local argan oil cooperative and see how this rare oil is produced. If you're lucky, you might spot goats climbing trees to eat argan berries and olives. Once in Essaouira, you have the option to visit the wharf with a guide, pick fresh fish and seafood from the local catch, and have it grilled Moroccan style at a local restaurant.

Essaouira
This is your free day to explore Essaouira. Visit the wharf to see the blue boats and ancient fortress surrounding the medina, walk through the maze of streets shopping for souvenirs, or relax with mint tea while people watching. If you prefer something more active, try kite or windsurfing, both popular activities here. As evening falls, head to the city ramparts to watch the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean.

After breakfast, you prepare for your long drive back to Casablanca. Enjoy the last views of Morocco from your private transport. After about four hours, you'll reach Casablanca Mohamed V Airport to catch your departing flight home.
