From there, it's a short drive into Mostar's historic center, where you'll settle in for your first night. Mostar
This day focuses on medieval sites and natural features around the Mostar area. You'll start at Pocitelj, a medieval old town perched on a hillside where narrow streets and stone buildings take you back centuries. Then move to Mogorjelo archaeological site to see Roman and medieval ruins scattered across the landscape. In the afternoon, head to Kravica waterfall, where you can spend time near the water and enjoy the natural setting before it gets too late. From there, continue to Medjugorje, a pilgrimage center known for its religious importance and quiet atmosphere. You'll return to Mostar by evening, giving you time to rest and perhaps grab dinner in the city.

Mostar to Sarajevo
Your journey heads north toward Sarajevo with several stops along the way. Begin at Blagaj monastery, situated beside a river with limestone cliffs rising behind it, then continue to Konjic bridge, an Ottoman-era structure that's worth seeing for its architectural style and historical context. After lunch, visit the Sarajevo Tunnel museum to learn about the city's recent history through this significant wartime passage. By late afternoon, you'll arrive in Sarajevo's historical center where you'll spend your final night exploring the old town, its mosques, bazaars, and the locations connected to the city's complex past. This gives you time to walk around and get a feel for the city's character before leaving.
