Your first day takes you through the Mostar region's historical sites. Start at Tvrdos monastery, where you'll see the religious and cultural significance of the area, then move on to Vjetrenica cave to explore the natural formations and underground passages. After that, head to Stolac fortress to walk through the medieval structures and get views of the surrounding landscape. By afternoon, you'll reach Radimlja archaeological site to see the medieval tombstones and burial ground. From there, it's a short drive into Mostar's historic center, where you'll settle in for your first night. Mostar

This day focuses on medieval sites and natural features around the Mostar area. You'll start at Pocitelj, a medieval old town perched on a hillside where narrow streets and stone buildings take you back centuries. Then move to Mogorjelo archaeological site to see Roman and medieval ruins scattered across the landscape. In the afternoon, head to Kravica waterfall, where you can spend time near the water and enjoy the natural setting before it gets too late. From there, continue to Medjugorje, a pilgrimage center known for its religious importance and quiet atmosphere. You'll return to Mostar by evening, giving you time to rest and perhaps grab dinner in the city.

After lunch, visit the Sarajevo Tunnel museum to learn about the city's recent history through this significant wartime passage. By late afternoon, you'll arrive in Sarajevo's historical center where you'll spend your final night exploring the old town, its mosques, bazaars, and the locations connected to the city's complex past.
