- ARebecca· November 19th, 2023The day we drove across the border from Canada into the US. It was a busy day but superb, from the walk to a viewpoint over Lake Willoughby to the trip up the cable car, Flume Gorge and a final drive along the Kancamangus Highway, it was epic!Show moreTrip date: October 2023Review collected by Explore!
- AJudith Clarkson· November 9th, 2023Good trip, great leader, nice hotels. My only complaint, and one I have made before, is that the hikes were totally inadequately described. Saying a hike is 5k and omitting to mention that there is a 800 ft elevation gain is not only useless, it is misleading.Show moreTrip date: October 2023

- SKStacey· June 30th, 2019This trip was absolutely amazing! It was a small group which made it nice and allowed for more flexibility. Patrick, our guide, was absolutely wonderful. He did an outstanding job with giving information on what to see and where to go. He did an awesome job accommodating all our needs. He went out of his way to make this trip satisfying for all. He was down to earth and personal to all in the group. He’s an all round great guide, leader, person and the entire group believes they have made a friend for life.Show moreExplore! commented on this reviewThanks for your review and sharing your photo. Asked on January 13th, 2023On day 9 of this tour do you stop at any of the towns you pass through or is it a day of driving please?
- Explore!Operator•Written January 2023
We will pass through towns that have been built on the influx of some of North America's self-proclaimed aristocracy. We will pass by Portland, Maine's largest city and a community that has a rich heritage of trade and ship building. At Old Orchard Beach we pass one of the best beaches in the state, that take us down towards Kennebunkport, famed as the domicile residence of former president George Bush Senior. Our destination today is the town of Ogunquit, which in the language of the indigenous natives translates as beautiful place by the sea.
