Golden Circle Route
Your adventure starts with a pickup in Reykjavík this morning for the Golden Circle tour. You'll head out to Þingvellir National Park first, where you can see the tectonic plate rift and walk around the historic parliament grounds. From there, you drive to the Geysir Geothermal Area to watch the Strokkur geyser shoot water into the air. The tour continues to Gullfoss waterfall, where the power of the falling water is hard to overstate. Your last stop is Kerið Volcanic Crater with its turquoise lake, which gives you a nice contrast to everything else you've seen. You'll get back to Reykjavík by evening and check into your hotel for the next two nights.
Included Activities
- Guided tour of Þingvellir National Park including Almannagja gorge and Öxarárfoss waterfall
- Visit to Geysir Geothermal Area with Strokkur geyser viewing

South Coast Exploration
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll be picked up for a South Coast exploration. The first stop is Skógafoss waterfall, and if you're up for it, there's a staircase you can climb for views from above. Then you head to the coastal village of Vík to see the black sand beaches and get a feel for the area. Later, you'll walk along Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, where the basalt columns create a really striking landscape. The tour includes time at Sólheimajökull Glacier, where you can see the ice up close. You finish at Seljalandsfoss waterfall, and here's the thing with this one: you can actually walk behind the falling water if conditions allow. You'll be back at your Reykjavík hotel by late evening.

Kirkjufell mountain is next, and you'll see why it's so popular with photographers, plus nearby Kirkjufoss waterfall. The black-pebbled beach at Djúpalónssandur has some shipwreck remains and lifting stones that are worth checking out. From a distance, you can see the Snæfellsjökull Glacier. There are the basalt rock formations at Lóndrangar, and then you'll spend time in Arnarstapi village with its coastal charm. Your last stop is Ytri Tunga Beach, where seals often hang out and you can watch them from a distance. After that, you head back to Reykjavík for your final dropoff.
