- RMRhonda· June 5th, 2025Well organised tour with knowledgeable guide. There was a weather event during the 3-day trip which meant the tour could not continue as planned. The company was quick to adapt the tour by re-organising sightseeing destinations and alternate accommodation. - TVTheresa· April 14th, 2025There was a lot to see in Iceland for the few days that I was there and this tour did a good job of showing me the main sights. I was hesitant to drive in the rain and snow and these bus tours were a good solution. As a solo traveler, I had to pay a supplement but the hotel room I was given as part of the package was nice, breakfast was included and the bus picked up right in front of the hotel and was very prompt. The first day's tour was called something like "Golden Circe" and covered central/inland of west side of Iceland. That bus was very full (and was a large bus) but the guide did a good job of getting everyone back on the bus on time. I tend to prefer the smaller buses with ten passengers based on past day tour experiences. The tour to the south had some exciting weather but the scenery, especially the waterfalls, was spectacular. The trip to the north was on a nice, sunny day and was beautiful, as well. Each day, the passengers were different. These three tours run daily/often and can be booked independently of the accommodation if a more central location is preferred. Overall, I was happy with my choice and appreciated the convenience.Show moreBusTravel Iceland commented on this reviewThank you for your detailed and thoughtful review! We're glad the tour helped you see Iceland’s main sights safely and comfortably, especially given the challenging weather. It’s great to hear you appreciated the convenience of the hotel, included... - Arnold· November 28th, 2024We took the 1 day small bus trip to the golden circle and blue . We were promised a tour that started at Thingvellir National Park and had an hour at Gullfoss. nstead we went in the opposite direction. We had less than half the time at Gullfoss and arrived at Thingvellir after sunset. We can never get the lost time at these areas back or see what we missed. There were specific things I wanted to see that we could not do. Our tour was to end at the Blue Lagoon. That changed when the volcano erupted. The company obviously could not control that, but they could control the route they took and ensured we would see the areas they promised. It did not help that help that the feeder buses from downtown Reykjavik were late, the tour driver missed a turn on route, and some passengers were late at two stops. But we never would have signed up for a tour that did not first stop at the listed locations. The company unilaterally switched us to the Secret Lagoon. The pools in Reykjavik were better and it took up hours in the middle of the short day. The Golden Circle is amazing. I am sorry I entrusted our tour to this company.Show moreBusTravel Iceland commented on this reviewDear Arnold, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. - James· May 17th, 2024First two days were great. Guides Karolina and Richie were knowledgeable, engaging and entertaining. Guide Tony on day three seemed knowledgeable, but wasn’t as engaged with the group. Although I suppose it’s what comes with a tour of this length, the Peninsula tour seemed like there was way too much time driving and precious little time actually sightseeing.Show moreBusTravel Iceland commented on this reviewThank you for your review and for sharing your experience with us. Asked on July 31st, 2025What is the name of the hotel for travelers stay for 2 days included in the tour, is it for day 2 and 3 only not day 1?
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written July 2025
We work with several hotels in Reykjavik, so we only book it when customers are booked and confirmed on the tour. We offer a 3-star hotel with wifi and breakfast included. 2-night accommodation in central Reykjavik. (On day 1 and day 2 of the tour, and at the end of the tour on day 3, we drop you off at a hotel you have booked for yourself).

Asked on June 10th, 2025Is it possible to have a guide in Spanish?
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written June 2025
We do not have scheduled tours in Spanish, however it is possible to organize a private tour with a Spanish speaking guide. The cost of a 3-day private tour is substantially higher.

Asked on April 14th, 2025I found information about your tour online, which I'd like to do before a conference I'll attend in Reykjavik. I'll arrive to Reykjavik on Tuesday 3 June and would like to leave the following day (4 June) on 4-day bus tour to see as much as possible, returning to Reykjavik on Saturday 7 June - in time for my conference starting the following day. Do you have any options available for this?
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written April 2025
I'm afraid that we don't have a 4-day tour departing on June 4th. We have a departure starting on June 5th. Would that work for you?
