Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Reykjavik
You'll land at Keflavik airport and catch a shuttle bus to your Reykjavik accommodation. After settling in, there's time to walk around the capital if your schedule allows, though the journey itself takes a few hours so don't plan too much for this arrival day.

- Keflavik International Airport / Keflavíkurflugvöllur (KEF), Keflavíkurflugvelli, Sandgerði, Southern Peninsula Region 235, Iceland (Flybus PLUS shuttle transfer from Keflavík International Airport to your accomodation in Reykjavík. The Flybus departs from Keflavík Airport 35-40 minutes after each flight arrival. )

- Day 2
Reykjavik to Westfjords
Meet your guide early and head west into Iceland's volcanic region. You'll see a 3,400-year-old crater with views across the valley, check out a replica Viking longhouse and living museum, and spot your first waterfall of the trip. The day ends in Patreksfj\u00f6rdur, a small fishing village where you'll base yourself for the next couple nights.

Raudásandur & Látrabjarg
Start at one of Iceland's most distinctive beaches known for its red-colored sand. A folk museum teaches you about local maritime traditions and daily life in the Westfjords, then you'll drive to one of Europe's highest seabird cliffs where puffins, razorbills, and guillemots hang out. Before returning to Patreksfj\u00f6rdur, you'll see an old shipwreck along the coast.

- Day 4
Westfjords to Ísafjördur
Begin at an impressive tiered waterfall, then follow the coastline and fjords east toward Ísafj\u00f6rdur. You'll pass through charming villages and stop at a historic bookstore running since 1914. There's also a museum covering an avalanche from 1995 and how the area protects itself from future slides. By evening you'll arrive in Ísafj\u00f6rdur, the largest town in the Westfjords region.

- Day 5
Ísafjördur
Climb a 640-meter mountain with a steel viewing platform at the top for cliff-top views across the area. Later, tour a restored fishing hut museum showing what 19th-century island life looked like, and grab fresh local seafood for lunch. The afternoon is yours in Ísafj\u00f6rdur, or you can book an optional ATV tour or boat trip out to Vigur island to see puffins.

- Day 6
Ísafjördur to West Iceland
Travel along fjords with chances to spot whales, then visit a geothermal-powered salt factory where they use natural heat for production. You'll explore a museum about Icelandic witchcraft and sorcery with artifacts and stories from centuries past. The day winds down at a country lodge near Breiðafjördur Bay where things are quieter.

West Iceland to Reykjavik
Head back toward Reykjavik after your week in the Westfjords, making scenic stops along the way. You'll see lava waterfalls fed by glacial meltwater, visit an Icelandic horse farm to meet the animals, and have time to check out some of Reykjavik's landmarks and learn about the city's history before your last night.

Departure from Reykjavik
Catch a shuttle bus from your accommodation back to Keflavik airport for your departure flight. Leave time for the drive back to the airport, usually around two hours from Reykjavik depending on traffic.
