- Day 1
Arrival in Reykjavik
You'll arrive in Reykjavik whenever your flight gets in, so the day is yours to settle in. There's nothing scheduled until the evening when you'll meet your CEO and the rest of the group at a welcome meeting. It's a good time to grab dinner on your own and get oriented to the city if you want.

Reykjavik to Akureyri
After breakfast you'll head north from Reykjavik by private vehicle to Akureyri, known as the Capital of the North. Once there, wander through the old town and grab lunch at one of the local spots if you're interested. The Eyjafjordur area is great for spotting local wildlife and checking out small villages along the way. There's an optional whale-watching tour available in the evening if that appeals to you.

Akureyri to Bakagerdi (Borgarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur)
Traveling south today takes you through Iceland's dramatic landscapes with stops at Godafoss waterfall en route. You'll explore the lava formations at Dimmuborgir and the geothermal area near Myvatn lake. Before heading to your overnight guesthouse in Bakagerdi, the itinerary includes a visit to Dettifoss, one of Europe's most powerful waterfalls. It's a full day of scenery and natural wonders.

Bakagerdi (Borgarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur) to Hofn
Leaving Bakagerdi, you'll drive along the eastern fjords coastline toward Hofn. The route keeps you close to Vatnajokull, Europe's largest ice cap, with several scenic stops built in so you can take in the views and get photos. It's mostly a travel day but with plenty of opportunities to get out and look around.

Landmarks/POIs Vatnajökull Glacier - Day 5
Hofn to Vík
Today centers on Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon where massive icebergs float toward shore and seals hang out on the bright blue ice. There's an optional boat tour through the lagoon if you want to get closer. Nearby Diamond Beach has crystal-clear chunks of glacier ice scattered across black sand, worth spending time exploring. You can either hike through Skaftafell National Park or take an optional glacier hike with equipment. Later you'll head to Vik for the night.

Vík to Reykjavik via Golden Circle
The drive back to Reykjavik follows the famous Golden Circle route with several stops. You'll see Reynisfjara beach, then visit Seljalandsfoss and Gullfoss waterfalls. After that comes Geysir Hot Springs and Thingvellir National Park before arriving in Reykjavik by early evening. It's a scenic route with plenty of photo opportunities along the way.

Reykjavik
This morning there's an optional snorkeling trip to Silfra where you can see the tectonic plates meeting in Thingvellir National Park. Later you'll meet your CEO for a walking tour through Reykjavik's city center to check out the main sights and neighborhoods. After the walk, you'll head to Sky Lagoon for a relaxing soak in the geothermal waters, which is a nice way to end the day.

Snaefellsnes Peninsula
The Snaefellsnes Peninsula gets a full day visit, famous from Jules Verne's novel. You'll see moss-covered lava fields, mountains, black sand beaches, and dramatic sea cliffs all in one day. Small fishing villages dot the coastline and the views just keep changing as you drive around. It's a long day but shows off Iceland's variety in a single route.

Departure
You'll depart Reykjavik anytime that works for you, wrapping up the tour. Head to the airport whenever your flight is scheduled and make your way home.
