A driver picks you up from the airport and takes you to Africa Safari Arusha, located in Tanzania's safari capital. You'll check in and spend the night getting ready for the safari ahead.

Arusha National Park
You'll head out on a game drive through Arusha National Park early in the day, looking for wildlife across this protected area. After the drive, you return to Africa Safari Arusha for another night.

Landmarks Arusha National Park - Day 3
Tarangire National Park
Next, you're off to Tarangire National Park, where you'll see large concentrations of animals, particularly elephants. The park sits outside the Serengeti but has impressive wildlife all the same. By evening you'll reach Africa Safari Rift Valley, positioned in the Great Rift Valley area.

- Day 4
Lake Manyara National Park
This morning starts with a full-day game drive through Lake Manyara National Park. One of the draws here is spotting tree-climbing lions, which you don't see everywhere. Later you drive to Africa Safari Karatu for the night, which offers views of the Ngorongoro Highlands across 180 degrees.

- Day 5
Karatu
If you want to add something different, there's an optional visit to Lake Eyasi to meet the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. These groups practice traditional hunting and gathering, and you can learn about their blacksmith herding practices too. You'll stay another night at Africa Safari Karatu with those same Ngorongoro Highland views.

Landmarks Lake Eyasi Ngorongoro Highlands - Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Ndutu
You start the day at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, taking in the views of this volcanic formation. In the afternoon, you do a game drive while traveling toward Lake Ndutu. By evening you're settled at Africa Safari South Serengeti for the night.

Serengeti National Park
Today brings a full-day game drive through the Serengeti National Park. You'll have plenty of chances to photograph wildlife and the landscape around you. After the drive, you stay at Africa Safari Maasai Boma, where you can experience how the Maasai live and work.

Pololeti Game Reserve
You drive through Pololeti Game Reserve, where you might see lions hunting, elephants moving across the land, buffalo grazing, and antelope running. The wildlife varies throughout the day. You'll spend another night at Africa Safari Maasai Boma.

Serengeti National Park
Another game drive takes you through the Serengeti on the way to Africa Safari South Serengeti. The landscape here is quiet and peaceful, giving you more time to observe the environment and any animals you come across.

Ngorongoro Crater
You'll do a full-day game drive through the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest complete volcanic crater in the world. The crater floor holds a lot of wildlife, and it's a different experience from the open plains. That night you're back at Africa Safari Karatu with views of the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Departure
