Itinerary
- Day 1
Reykjavik
You'll arrive at Keflavik airport and take about an hour drive to your hotel in Reykjavik. After settling in, the rest of the day is yours to explore the city. Hallgrimskirkja Church, with its distinctive pipe organ shape, makes for a good landmark to get oriented. Later, find somewhere along the main street for dinner and get a feel for the local dining scene.

- Day 2
Snaefellsnes Peninsula
This is a full day on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula covering roughly 440 km over about 10 to 11 hours. Starting from Borgarnes village, you'll see Bjarnarfoss waterfall and then Budir church positioned between the coastline and mountains. From there, head toward Snaefellsjokull glacier and the port town of Arnarstapi with its distinctive columnar basalt. The itinerary includes the black pebbled beach at Djupalonsandur, Kirkjufellsfoss waterfall, and Kirkjufell Mountain. By evening you'll head back to Reykjavik.

Golden Circle
Today covers Iceland's famous Golden Circle route. You'll start at Thingvellir National Park, one of the country's top three sites, then move through Geyser Valley to see its geothermal activity. Gullfoss Waterfall comes next on the route. Around midday you'll have lunch at Fridheimar Farm, which specializes in tomato farming and gives a different perspective on Icelandic agriculture. To finish out the day, there's a stop at the Secret Lagoon before heading back.

South Coast Waterfalls & Glaciers
You'll drive through the Hellisheidi mountain pass on the way to Seljalandsfoss waterfall, then continue to Gljufrabui, a smaller waterfall tucked between cliffs and rocks. Skogafoss comes next, a 60 meter waterfall that creates rainbows on clear days. Later you'll reach Dyrholaey with its dramatic 120 meter black lava column formation rising from the coast. After a walk on Reynisfjara black beach, the route back to Reykjavik includes a stop at Solheimajokull glacier, the outer edge of Iceland's fourth largest glacier system.

Reykjavik & Departure
Your last morning in Iceland. If there's time, walk around Reykjavik city center on your own, or sign up for an optional trip to the Blue Lagoon to soak in the geothermal hot springs before heading out. After that, you'll transfer to the airport for your departure at the scheduled time.
