    Marseille to Arles

    You'll arrive in Marseille by 3 pm and board your Suite Ship by 5 pm. Get settled into your cabin, then head to dinner as the ship stays docked overnight in Arles.

    Arles to Avignon

    Morning brings several options: join a power walk with your Adventure Host, try a painting workshop learning Van Gogh techniques, or take a guided walking tour of Arles including the Roman Amphitheater. After that, you'll have free time to visit Le Café Van Gogh for wine before the ship sails to Avignon.

The evening features live entertainment onboard.

Free time lets you bike through town squares, over bridges, and along the riverbanks where the Rhône and Saône rivers meet. After evening entertainment, the ship sails to Tournus.

    We would like to thank our Statesman Attendee that took care of all our needs in our room 107. He was friendly and did an amazing job, Marisio our waiter served us with the highest respect and friendliness. Over all Avalon have very good staff and always a smile- nothing too much trouble. The ship was so clean, food was spectacular. We had a surprise group of singers Gwen and Charles who brought great entertainment. The other entertainer was amazing. Loved the top deck BBQ. We met lots of new friends aboard. Thank you Avalon for a trip well executed.

    ship was excellent, food and drinks were great, adventures perfectly organized,all crew members were extremely friendly and helpful. One person was outstanding and needs to be mentioned: our cruise director GAYLE. She was just outstanding and the best we ever experienced.
