Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Cairo
A private car meets you at Cairo International Airport and takes you to your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. Once you check in, your guide will reach out to confirm what you'll be doing over the next few days. That evening, you're set for a dinner cruise on the Nile with local folkloric performances and a belly dancer, though if your flight arrives late, this can be rescheduled for another night.

- Day 2
Cairo: Giza, Saqqara, Memphis
After breakfast, you'll head out to the Giza Plateau with your guide to see the Great Pyramid of Khufu, Khafre's Pyramid, and the Pyramid of Menkaure. There's a photo stop so you can capture all three pyramids with the Cairo skyline behind them. From there, you travel to Saqqara to walk through the Step Pyramid of Zoser and the Imhotep Museum. Later, you'll stop in Memphis to check out the Statue of Ramses II and the alabaster sphinx before heading back.

- Day 3
Cairo: Egyptian Museum, Old Cairo, Citadel
This morning starts at the Egyptian Museum, where you'll see over 250,000 artifacts on display, including the golden treasures from King Tutankhamun's tomb. After lunch, you'll go to Old Cairo to visit several religious sites, the Hanging Church, Abu Sirga Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, and Amr Ibn El-Aas Mosque. From there, you head to the Citadel of Salah El-Din to see the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. If time allows, there's a chance to walk through Khan El Khalili Bazaar at the end of the day.

Luxor: Karnak and Luxor Temples
You'll fly to Luxor after breakfast and start your day on the East Bank with a guided tour of Karnak Temple, the largest ancient place of worship ever built. After grabbing lunch at a local restaurant, you'll move on to Luxor Temple to see the Obelisk of Ramses II and explore this sacred site, which served religious purposes continuously from ancient times through Coptic and Islamic periods.

Luxor: West Bank and Return to Cairo
Starting after breakfast, your guide takes you across to the West Bank to see the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. Next, you'll spend time in the Valley of the Kings exploring three royal tombs, including the Tomb of King Tutankhamun. After lunch, you'll make a stop at the Colossi of Memnon before flying back to Cairo, where you get transferred to your hotel.

Departure from Cairo
Have breakfast at the hotel, then head to the airport for your flight home. A representative from Ancient Egypt Tours will pick you up and drive you to the airport. If your flight leaves early before breakfast service starts, the hotel can pack a breakfast box for you to take along.
