Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
Your driver will meet you at Kathmandu airport and take you directly to your hotel. You'll have the rest of the day to rest up after your flight and get settled into your room.

Kathmandu
After breakfast, a local guide will take you around Kathmandu's main religious sites. You'll see Boudhanath Stupa with its massive prayer wheel, then head to Pashupatinath Temple along the river. From there you'll go to Swoyambhunath Stupa on the hilltop, and finish at Basantapur Durbar Square in the old city center. Your guide speaks English and will explain the history and significance of each place.

Kathmandu to Nepalgunj
After breakfast, you'll head to the airport for your 45-minute domestic flight to Nepalgunj. Once you land, another driver will pick you up and take you to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon and evening are free to relax or explore on your own.

- Day 4
Nepalgunj to Rara Lake
After breakfast, you'll travel to the airport for a 40-minute flight to Talcha Airport. When you arrive, you'll start trekking right away. The 3-hour walk takes you up to Rara Lake, Nepal's largest lake. You'll have time to walk around the shoreline and take in the area before evening.

- Day 5
Rara Lake
This morning includes a boat ride on Rara Lake before breakfast. Afterward you'll hike up to Murma Top, which sits at 3,662 meters and takes about 2 hours to reach. The viewpoint from up there is pretty good, and then you'll head back down to the lake level. You'll have free time in the afternoon to walk around or just rest.

Rara Lake to Bardia
You'll eat an early breakfast, then start hiking back toward Talcha Airport. After the trek, you'll fly 40 minutes to Nepalgunj. From there, a 2-hour drive (about 74 km) takes you to Bardia. In the evening, you can do some jungle activities or settle in at your lodge.

- Day 7
Bardia
After breakfast, you have a full day in Bardia National Park with several options available. You can take guided jungle walks through the forest, visit local villages to meet people, go on elephant safari or jeep safari to spot wildlife, or do bird watching. Your lodge or guide can help you decide what works best for you.

Landmarks Bardia National Park - Day 8
Bardia to Kathmandu
Following breakfast, you'll be driven to the airport for your 45-minute flight back to Kathmandu. Your driver will meet you when you land and take you to your hotel. The afternoon and evening are yours to spend however you'd like.

Kathmandu
After breakfast, you'll take a guided half-day tour of Bhaktapur Durbar Square, an older part of the valley with traditional architecture and temples. Once that finishes up, the rest of the day is open. You can walk around more on your own or fit in some shopping before you leave.

Kathmandu
The morning is free and you can move at your own pace. Later in the day, you'll get a ride to the international airport for your flight home.
