- Day 1
Colombo to Dambulla
Land at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo where your tour leader meets you for the drive to Dambulla. On the way, stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to watch the rescued elephants bathing in the river. After that, head to Dambulla to walk through the cave temple complex with its Buddha statues and ancient carvings etched into the massive rock overhang, then settle into your hotel.

Dambulla
After breakfast, start early for Sigiriya Rock and climb this ancient palace and fortress that sits as one of Sri Lanka's most important historical sites. Later in the evening, head to Minneriya National Park to see the elephant migration, where around 300 elephants gather at the old water tank during the dry season (approximately 50 to 200 elephants depending on season).

Dambulla to Kandy
Following breakfast, drive toward Kandy with a stop at a spice garden in Matale to see how Sri Lanka's famous spices grow and get processed. The route includes a village tour through Sigiriya countryside with paddy fields, bullock cart rides, traditional catamaran rides, and chena cultivation, plus an authentic Sri Lankan lunch. Once in Kandy, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and catch a cultural show that evening.

Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, visit a tea plantation and factory in the central highlands to learn how Ceylon tea gets made and taste some varieties. You can optionally see Hanuman Temple and Ramboda Waterfalls along the way. Then continue to Nuwara Eliya for a city tour covering the Hakgala Botanical Gardens and the colorful Seetha Amman Temple, with time to browse the local market.

Nuwara Eliya to Beruwala
Following breakfast, drive toward the coast and stop at St. Clair Falls, one of Sri Lanka's widest waterfalls known locally as the 'Little Niagara of Sri Lanka'. The waterfall flows through green hills and tea estates. From there, continue to Beruwala to check into your beach hotel and relax by the water.

Beruwala
After breakfast, head to Bentota for sightseeing and spend the day relaxing at the beach. When evening comes, take a boat safari on the Madu River through a wetland estuary with 64 islands and varied wildlife, then visit a turtle farm. Water sports are available if you want to try something different.

Beruwala to Colombo
After breakfast, proceed to the airport. Depending on your flight time, there's a chance to do a Colombo city tour hitting landmarks like Galle Face Green, Viharamahadevi Park, the National Museum, Twin World Trade Center towers, Old Parliament Building, Fort district, Independence Hall, and various temples. Optional shopping time in Colombo before heading to the airport.
